Hattrick Question
This week's friendlies have just been played in Canada (damn you FrogMan.. you destroyed me )...
would next week's friendlies be the first week of offseason? And the week after that the last week of offseason? Thanks! |

Next week will be the final friendly of the season (and the only game played that week) and the next week will be the start of the new season with most folks in their national cup. The national cups have a lot more attendance than normal friendlies and the lower seed get 2/3 of the money. So:
Next sunday - qualification matches ( small number of teams) Wednesday - normal friendly Following Sunday - Global Birthday (player ages - no games) Wedensday - Cup game or friendly if not in cup.

That's just how Prof said. Tomorrow, you set you training to whatever you want since you have two games full of players. You don't have a league game this week (meaning this coming Sunday), since you're not up for promotion, so you only have your Wednesday game next week. Set you training to Stamina before going to bed Thursday night. The following Sunday, nobody has a game, it's simply where the players will age and they'll reset the divisions and everything. Then the following Wednesay is your second Friendly of the offseason. Then set you training to general before going to bed The next day. That your form training... There you have it. Now about our little game. You got what you deserved you took out one of my young trainee and bruised another one! Oh well See ya later! FrogMan Last edited by FrogMan : 03-19-2003 at 09:59 PM. |

Wha? I didn't tell my players to take out yours.. no, I didn't.. I swear!
So for the training update tomorrow, I leave it at Playmaking.. and then for the friendly next week, I'd set it to Stamina, and the week afetr I set it to General, correct? Do I get it now? |

That's exactly what I would do if you wanna do stamina/form. Although I'm more incline to do stamina/stamina. I know I'll take a hit on my form, but I've read on numerous occasion that training form is sort of a waste, since your player should go back to his form by himself. What I mean is that form is temporary and it fluctuates. If you train stamina, it stay with the player (won't drop down)... That's how I see it... FrogMan |

Oh ok. Thanks! Maybe I'll try that. Anyone else can verify this?
You're players will need stamina and form against my rough and ruthless team next year |

to get some hint you can also go on the "Conferences" in Hattrick. Click on Conferences and go in the Canadian Conferences. I often read posts by the top managers in Canada. That's where I read a few guys saying that they never trained form, or if they did, it was only for a week, after doing 2-3 weeks of stamina...
