OT: NCAA. How did you do on the first day?
I did not do to bad.
I went 11-5. I hope to do better today(Friday). So what was your record on the first day of competition?

Memphis getting waxed most of the game suprised me quite a bit. Tulsa was a mild suprise as well. |

I picked both Weber State and Dayton to win yesterday, so for today I am already starting the day 0-2.
Sad it is.

12-4..
BYU, Creighton, Weber State and UW-Milwaukee were my L's. I really thought BYU had a shot at the Sweet 16.. If for no other reason, than to royally screw up any & all Bracket Games.

funny, I've got the exact same story as Cuckoo. Had both Creighton and Memphis losing the next game, so it's not too big a loss.

Never ever ever ever ever pick against a team from the MAC in the first round. I went 12-4 but I had Dayton in the Sweet 16 so that hurt a bit.

MY downfall was NC State. I always pick teams from NC (sava Chatanooga) to win in the first round at least.

Losers were Memphis, NC State, Creighton, and Southern Illinios (and the Salukis almost pulled it off!). Luckily I only had one of my losing teams making it to the Sweet Sixteen. Damn Memphis...

3-1 today, I took a chance on Manhattan and lost. My two lock upsets, in terms of seeds, were Tulsa and Auburn. Auburn gave me a scare but pulled through.

13-3 yesterday, 3-1 today.
Whiffed on Weber State, Creighton, and NC State (ugh) yesterday, St. Joe's today. Fortunately all misses are contained as picked winners were picked to lose in second round. |
