Totally OT : Scott W Tyree question
Just curious if any of you live in/near Pittsburgh and know what the latest is with Scott Tyree.
He is the computer programmer arrested over a year ago for transporting a 13 year old to his home in Va. Scott Tyree info The reasons I ask: He worked in the same building/for the same company as me. I can't find any information about him and his case that is recent anywhere. People I know back home always ask what the latest is on him. I'm just plain curious about it Figured no harm in asking you guys as you seem very good at obtaining info on a variety of subjects. Any info appreciated Thanks CA |

I searched high and low for close to a half hour and found nothing since the case was shifted to the jurisdiction of PA courts a week or two after the arrest.
That doesn't help but at least you know the thread wasn't totally ignored.

According to the PA Department of Corrections he is not an inmate there(or here I guess, im in Philly). You can not search the inmates in Virginia at this time though.

JonInMiddleGA and bosshogg23,
thanks for trying guys - sorry to take up your time. I guess there is just no info about him on the web since he was taken to Pittsburgh. Much appreciated. GoldenEagle, yes I'm a computer programmer, good luck with your degree - it seems to be a requirement these days to have a degree to break into the industry so I hope you are successful. I work on the IBM Mainframe side of the industry (the bit that was meant to have died out 10 years ago according to the 'experts')- I am guessing you are probably learning about the ditributed (Open) systems side - UNIX/Java etc as it is the current growth area.

There are some links in the sidebar to some related stories, but none that look too much newer than what you have.. |
