Thanks for all the help on my question guys
Anyways, let me recap you on the past few days: Friendly F.C. Bolivar vs. NE Oklahoma Sidekicks Well, we lost 3-1 to the team that promoted out of my series last year. I'm not too diappointed as he is in 3rd place in Div. IV. Nothing noteworthy occured during the match. Training We didn't have anyone bump up in playmaking this week. Many players lost a level of form, so I'm worried what these 2 weeks of stamina is going to do to them. Latest Events 3/23/2003 The series is over and you have been awarded 37 500 US$ in prize money for the position your club achieved. 3/23/2003 Your supporters paid their annual fees. The income from this amounted to 24 930 US$. Youth Pull #10 Freddie Krebs (9454683) 18 years, passable form, healthy A controversial person who is balanced and honest. Has disastrous experience and inadequate leadership abilities. Speciality: Unpredictable Nationality: USA Assessed value: 40 000 US$ Wage: 700 US$/week Owner: NE Oklahoma Sidekicks Warnings: 0 Stamina: poor Goaltending: disastrous Playmaking: wretched Passing: wretched Winger: solid Defending: inadequate Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: weak It would be nice if we could sell him, but the weakest link on the team has been our 2nd Winger, so Krebs will stay and immediately be inserted into the starting lineup. |

Ooh! Unpredictable winger. Sounds like fun. Too bad his other skills are all downright awful (unless you were training defense in which he would be a pretty good wingback)- he can't play winger that well (playmaking) or offensive winger (scoring/passing) but you could put him at defensive winger.

I disagree. Scoring has little to no effect on an offensive winger. Play him offensively to maximize his winger skill. His playmaking is horrendous for a midfielder, though.

So should I sell or keep?
Yeah, I read on the ABC tactics oncee that playing a winger offensively has no disadvatages. |

That depends. How badly do you want an attack on his side of the field; are you willing to give up midfield rating for it?
You could always sell him & find an older replacement.

Well, with my midfield rating being at poor already, I'm not sure I can afford it. How much would he go for? 70-100?

That sounds about right. HT is down right now, so I couldn't check similar players.

Well, like ice said, you could play him defensively and shore up defense on that side. At least until you can find a replacement. That kid would make a darn decent wing back, though.
I agree with Nev, though, scoring won't add to your offensive winger. I would think you would be able to find an inexpensive older player as a stopgap until you can develop one. As an aside, Nev's post looks weird with such a short signature. |
