World Football Tournament: Round 1, Game 2

You can see the first part of this dynasty here:

World Football Tournament Round 1, Game 2

Hungary 1, Peru 1
Ukraine 2, Croatia 2
Germany 1, Japan 1
Argentina 2, Australia 0

Game 2:
Poland 1, England 0

Well, we finished the first game for each team. Lots of great games, lots of surprises. There are some teams that were expected to do well that will have to get it in gear for the second round. Here is how the standings look after 1 game for each team and the first game of the second stage of games in round 1:

Poland vs. England was an exciting game, and I will have video highlights of that one for you shortly.

Poland vs. England highlights

Getting better at getting these things small enough to download easily with decent quality. This one looks pretty good, I think.

Group A is looking very competitive. Latvia has nothing to play for, having
been eliminated with their 2-0 loss to Mexico. For England to go through,
they must defeat Mexico in their third game. Poland is in very good position
to get through, needing only a win or draw against Latvia, or even a win or
draw by Mexico.

The England vs. Mexico matchup shapes up to be the pivotal one for group A.
