I have never heard of any of these bands.

Wait, is Animotion the ones that did Obsession?

Yes. That's Animotion. Their song reminds me of my obsession with Mrs. Leafs.

The fifth performer will be PM Dawn.

Shannon's hit is "Let The Music Play." Pretty big club/dance hit... but her success may be very local to the NY area. I have no idea if anyone else in the country has heard of her. Many, many, many dance artists have well known songs but zero name recognition themselves.

When Juice Newton is the best of the night, you know it sucked.

Man, PM Dawn was awful, though I'm inclined to cut the big man some slack. He's obviously got a medical condition - what's his deal?

I felt embarrassed for Chip Z'Nuff to be backing that chick from Missing Persons. Yikes. Did she just lose her voice after the first song? The dude had to announce her cover song because she couldn't talk.

Following in the footsteps of Vanilla Ice and Arrested Development, I guess.

Missing Persons, what the hell did she have written on her palm? I hope to hell not the lyrics.

PM Dawn would've been okay if the DJ didn't echo every lyric. I thought Juice Newton's version of Pieces of Me was pretty good.

Missing Persons = Stink

damn, bummer to hear about that. I think Missing Persons is one of the truly underrated 80s groups.

That was the worst show I've ever seen. Where did they dig up the gay british host? That guy has no clue who any of them are/were.

Couldn't have been the REAL missing persons. What was the line up?

Terry Bozzio-Drums
Dale Bozzio-vocals
Warren Cuccarulo-Guitars
Patrick Ohearn- Bass

If not, then it wasn't Missing Persons. If so, than WOW.

Ive been in jail up here in the cities. Just got out. Beat my ex-wife, cops found 2 keys of blow in my closet, been able to put my life back together.

Just kidding. Actually, this will be the first day off since May 30th. Yes, that's 1 month straight of working...no days off.

That's cool. A month straight of working in rock n roll beats a month straight of working in just about anything else.
