FOFC PokerStars Colossal Squid tourney, #28 (7/24/2005)
Howdy all,
Hopefully we can get back on our "every other week" schedule for the event. Later this week, I'll post what I will be offering for a bounty. Others are free to post bounties of their own! Code:

midweek bump...
to reference the other thread, there is a 20% bonus being offered right now on deposits at PokerStars And, for a bounty, I will offer the modified cartman bounty once again. Here's the scoop: must be at least 9 people registered if you knock me out before we reach the final 3, and you finish in the final 3, I will pay $10 for 3rd, $15 for 2nd, and $25 for 1st.

Ahh finally a bounty, and I don't think I'm going to be able to play in this one. Oh well, you guys will just have to do without me giving you my money.

I can probably play -- emphasis on the probably part.

NLHE $10+$1 = No Limit Hold 'Em with a $10 prize fee + $1 house rake. That means it will cost you $11 to play, with $10 going to the pot and $1 going to the house.
The FOFC tourneys usually take in the 1 to 2 hour frame. It depends on the size of the field and how play goes. The FOFC tourney usually ends up being a 1 or 2 table tournament. If you look at the one-table Sit-and-Go tourneys, they pretty much run like the FOFC tourney. |

Hrm. I kind of forgot that today's my little brother's birthday. I'd like to play, but we're probably going to be eating dinner at that time.
I'll have to wait until next time to put my undefeated record on the line

I'm probably 50/50 at this point, my wife is having a lot of problems with her knee this weekend so if she's awake and needs anything I can't play, we'll see

The only problem for me is that this tournament comes right after that FSN epic "Poker Superstars II". I need my Chris Moneymaker tips on how to beat you guys.
Should make it. I'll try not to disappoint. |

I made it past five minutes, but I was still the first one out. Good stuff... Edit: Gah! If I had just lasted another minute I would have finished ahead of Suicane!!!

Wow... So with Honolulu collecting both first place and the cartman bounty does this make him the largest single event winner?

Thanks everyone for the game. Special props to Radii, who survived for 76 hands and nearly half an hour heads up against me. Harder to catch than a greased pig, that one.
Anyway, I said to myself awhile ago that if I won one of these things I would offer a bounty. I did, and I will. Details to come. |

I am pretty sure I still hold that distinction. One of my wins was in one of our largest events(20+ I believe) and I won a $50ish cartman bounty in it... I think. I could be remembering that all wrong, it's been a damn long time since I've won one of these. |

I haven't written my rules of poker down yet, but one of the top rules will be: Never challenge Radii. He's the Phil Ivey of the FOFC. He can have any two cards in his hand at anytime. On the bubble for money, I get 22 and decided to try and steal the blinds. Radii raises back at me. I figure with that raise he's go something decent -- I was guessing AK -- and he knows he can play with me because he knows I'm afraid of him. I decide to raise all-in thinking that he knows I'm afraid of him and won't raise into him unless I have something -- which I don't.
So what happens? The jackass has AA and wasn't trying to mess with me. I guarantee if I had folded to his reraise he would have shown me 29o. |

You can't deposit to pokerstars through paypal no. I'm sure someone woudl be willing to transfer you money on stars if you transferred it to them via paypal though if you were trying to get a little deposit in there for the FOFC tournies. |

I suck, but I did make the final table this time. I have to learn how to lay down AQ.
