FOF2K4: Who are the backup cornerbacks?

How does the AI handle replacing the injured CBs in the game? Is the nickel the LCB backup, backup to both, or does the AI just choose "best available LCB" or "best available CB" when a starter is injured?

I've never been clear on this.

never mind, it's in the help file:

Quote:
The nickel cornerback is the first cornerback to substitute for tired or injured cornerbacks as well as the player who substitutes for one of the linebackers when a nickel defense is chosen.

The dime back is the second player to substitute for tired or injured cornerbacks, and will join the nickel cornerback, substituting for a second linebacker when a dime defense is chosen.

Well, it relates to another more complicated question... one which i just sent off to solecismic support. Still, i kind of feel like a moron for not checking the help file first.

At least i thought to do it immediately afterwards though!
