Defensive fantasy football?
Does anyone play in a fantasy football league focused exclusively on defensive players? As in you draft linebackers, defensive backs, etc, etc. I think i would much more enjoy the defensive side of the ball, instead of traditional running back dominated FF.

I think the biggest problem with individual defensive players is the general lack of predictability and the overall lack of scarcity. Tackles, and especially sacks and turnovers are just not all that predictable, and as a result there's less "skill" involved in picking them.
In any fantasy league I have joined using individual defensive players, unless the scoring is really skewed toward then, I know I can select them basically last, since there will always be tons of guys who put up solid tackle totals -- not so with stats like rushing and passing, etc. FWIW |
