Shouldn't this go in the freeware thread?
Just teasing, Airhog (though you might put a link to this thread in that one). Never heard of the game, but it still looks interesting! /tk

Airhog, thanks for the link and thanks for posting it on the freeware thread. I am probably one of the few that played a lot of games from that Wing Commander series. It's amazing that today they don't have much video in the games like they did during some of the later Wing Commander games. Anyways....thanks again.

I'm with you on all counts. I loved the old Wing Commander games, and back then I honestly thought their use of video and melding movie-type cinematics with the game engine was going to usher in a whole new era of similarly styled games. Alas, all that technology provided was an opportunity to see Ginger Lynn flirting with Mark Hamill. Which, I suppose, is nothing to sneeze at. |

I LOVED the Wing Commander series. I probably played WC IV more than most other games I have owned. |

Neat. I've always heard how good the game is. Found a copy in the bargain software bin once, but couldn't get the game to run. Thanks for the info.
Won't have a chance to play for a bit, but am downloading for later. |
