FOF: Do you stick with your team when you get fired?
I just got fired from the Steelers in year 2019. I was sitting pretty good. I was spending quite a bit without a bowl win since 2012.
Anyway, I wanted to veto my owner's firing but I decided to reload the game, get fired again and chose 'yes' to continue. I then said screw it and selected another team. Took the worst team available. What do you guys do in this situation? I was gonna just leave that career and start another one but I was curious to see what would happen to some of my older players (close to breaking yardage records). I think that chosing a new team is ok. thoughts?

If another team in the division is available... grab it!

Dang, I already chose the Broncos. They were way bad. 55 wins in 15 years.

I always play on, too.
I like to see who ends up in the HOF and try to turn another franchise around (for the better, hopefully). You could also try to move the team... that is always fun. |

UPDATE:
Took over the broncos. They were the worst team in the league. Capped out some players to get a great quarterback (whom I named after myself when he entered in the league 7 years ago ) Already had a stud for a RB. Just won my first Superbowl with them. Took 3 years to turn them around. Very rewarding.

DOLA:
Never saw this message before... From: Team Owner The owner of your franchise is starting to grumble about the overall value of the franchise. You should address these concerns within the next couple of seasons if you want to remain in charge. Wonder if it's because I already got fired from a team.

Are you making a profit? That could be contributing to your problems.

I was making a profit with the Steelers. Attendence started slipping even with a bowl win. From my experience, firings always happen due to profit/loss. DID make a stadium proposal that was denied. Was making a move to Vegas when I got canned With Denver, sales were really bad when I took them over. Came into a team that was already moving. Of course, the balance sheet shows me dishing out 100 million for about 6 years or whatever. I never got a warning email from owners in this version of FOF. That was strange. And now, after my superbowl win, I am 46 million over the cap. I am probably gonna cap out one more time and attempt to rebuild after that. I have a move coming and know i can get fans to come to the games...if I last that long.
