Game release dates

Although I'd like to know when a game is coming out, etc, I can very much understand Jim's stance on not giving info based on this thread at GDS:

My "favorite" part about that train wreck of a thread was when they immediately changed the front page to get rid of the Q3 release comment, but people were too dense to do a refresh before they continued bitching about it.

What I couldn't believe was the people blasting him for having a baby.

Given the idiocy of some people about release dates, the baby comments didn't surprise me one bit.

Yeah, his wife was having contractions, and then BOOM! Out came the baby. And the doctor went WHAP! on the baby's ass.

I'd have sold internal organs to make that happen.

It was Mexican. It's always delicious on the way down, but feels like napalm on the way out.

i didn't read any of that garbage, but the silver lining is i'm sure it's nice to see people this excited about your release (from the viewpoint of a developer). the flip side would be no one caring at all. so you have to take the bad with the good - people caring, craving for your product is a very good thing.

Hopefully next year, but 2007 at the latest. Mmmmm...chips and salsa. That's what I miss the most is homemade chips and salsa. The funny thing is that we have about 50 Hacienda restaurants around here. It's like the Grand China Buffet name at every Chinese restaurant (oh and I miss the Grand China Buffet on the Eastside across from Foxy's).

You can make these yourself....at home.

Although the quality of corn tortillas up there may not be so hot, I don't know.

Anyways, I think I have some pico de gayo in the fridge right now. The woman is always making some. Good stuff, I will think about you next time I eat some.
