WWSM 2006 Question

It sucks that I have one team and career on the laptop and one at home ont he desktop. Is there a way to easily transfer them back and forth?

Yeah, you should be able to just transfer the ".fm" file that in My Documents...

My Documents > WWSM2006 > games

Yeah, as Mike said, in My Documents under the Sports Interactive folder is where the saved games are. I transfer my saved game between two computers also, works like a charm.

You'll prolly want to use a compressed save and delete the .pks files (I believe there is a post in the patch thread about that, be careful, might be usefull to have a backup of the game saved).

I just transfer them between the two using a memory stick.

how can that be all that's needed. The .fm file is 16830kb? How can it know what is going on on the new computer if its such a small file?

You think 16 megs is a small file?

You likely have just started your career. Worry not about the file size. You'll get the immense file size in no time at all.

I'm in January '07 and my file size currently sits at 234 megabytes.
