Nice job. Looks like Howard blocked swaggs for us also. Oz is still gunning for me though.

Current scores:

St.cronin - 3
Alan - 3
Ardent - 1
Schmidty - 1
Jonathan - 1
Swaggs - 2
Kwhit - 1

Lupus 8
Helsing 6
Oz 6
Howard 3

I -believe- Swaggs vote didnt count since he was blocked out. I dont know if that means he still has to vote again or not though.

Well if Mr.W doesn't show at least it gives us an easy person to pick out for tribal council

If we're far enough in first place we could keep second even if we lose three points, in theory. But that involves us not screwing up....which I have a reasonable amount of faith in.

Well now the next turn will be much tougher for you pass. I am sure people will assume you are up next for us and will likely choose you. So you'll have to do just as good as Lathum

sigh, I hate to be nit picky but BK told CR that missing the team challanges wouldn't hurt him to much. I just hope Mr. Wed didn't read that and assume he could miss today without consequense

Do we want to go and vote Swaggs this time? It has the double effect of putting someone ahead of me in voting plus taking out the team ahead of us if you can post before him.

I -think- his vote didnt count so he still has to vote for today.

BK told Chief the opposite. he said that not being here during the day would be a very huge disadvantage and recommended chief not to play until he heard chief had new work hours and could be on during the day.

this is BK's post in the sign up thread

Quote:
There is room, as you'd be #20, but as accommodating as I want to be for people's schedules I'm not sure yours would work. There will be challenges going on during the day. When it's a the tribe level this won't be a big deal. However, when it gets down to individual challenges you'd be placing yourself at a disadvantage by not being around. If you want to play the spots yours, it's just that being gone all day on multiple days seems like more of a disadvantage here than in most games.

Its probably irrelevant, since if you go now, then its even more likely the next time for Pass to go. At some point he has to and if people are going to gun for us, they'll do it if we get to first. Right now being in second might make it more likely people will vote swaggs again rather than worry about us

Tyrith, your post above is from the other thread. I don't know if you are telling the truth with this statement or not.

If so, you need to look closer.

Heh, tyrith, I thought you were saying nicely done for pointing out swaggs showing up at the last minute. Anyway, Lathum rocked out on that one. I can only hope to do as good as him. I think I should go next, unless Wednesday gets here -- I can do 4, but we should leave that slot open for Wednesday as well.

Thoughts on who to vote for? Swaggs got blocked, right? So technically he hasn't voted, making him the only one with no vote..right?

I agree, that I didnt understand what gramm saw in tyrith's post, but I might just be missing it.

As for asking about the voting thing, we can but barkeep wont be around until after the next vote anyways. For safety sake they probably have to assume he has to revote anyways. he is their only person who hasnt voted.

It might almost be safer for them to just have blade race us instead of screwing around with Swaggs all afternoon. If blade can go 3/2 that's as good as Swaggs getting blocked again and then going for 2 points. However, I'm not sure if they are as clear on the rules as we are, or if they'll think it's worth the risk.

Going for swaggs here is the same benefit as going for cronin earlier in the day though. It gives more people with lots of votes to buffer protect us too. I assume oz will keep voting for me, so while Oz is busy trying to lose, we'll focus on winning as a team while trying to protect ourselves too

Yeah. If we vote for Swaggs another time or two I think we just need to keep going with him the rest of the day. I don't think having you "win" the vote race is going to be good for us in the end, Alan, and I'd lean towards trying to make it so you don't when deciding between mostly equal alternatives.

I figure they have to try to get Swaggs in at some point, and if they're going to do that, they'll need a lot of tries. But maybe Swaggs' vote does count -- it would suck for us to have Wednesday come in at the last minute, and everyone know he's voting, and have that invalidate it.

If Wednesday comes in at the last moment then we can always try to run out our fastest guy, get 2/3 points, lose 3, and move on instead of having him get cancelled and then lose 3 points anyway.

I'm wondering if maybe we don't need to worry about invalidating Blue anymore. Maybe we should just keep winning the races, and keep Alan safe. Now I'm thinking of voting cronin.
