Well, we're hitting the ball well, but our relief pitching is definitely killing us. I'm hoping to see some more complete games.
My initial hope with this rotation was to get guys that could go 7 consistently, then hand it over to McGraw after that. Apparently that hasn't worked out as hoped, otherwise I feel like we would be better in extra innings.

Man, tight race in our division.
I'd like to see better from our pitching staff, I expected McGraw to be more of a shut down guy but he has been shaky.. Mordecai Brown has been somewhat of a disappointment thus far as well.

Dayton is well under the preseason predictions, would need to go 22-8 in the final half of the season to reach the prediction.
Stamford would need to go 17-13 to get to their predicted win total. Yuma would need to go 16-14. Wichita would need to go 15-15. Chicago is ahead of their pace and could go 14-16 to reach the predicted total. Kalamazoo is way under the pace and would need to go 21-9 to reach the prediction. Staten Island could go 13-17 to reach the prediction as they are a little above the pace. Takoma Park is WAY above the prediction and would need to go 4-26 to hit the prediction. |
