I had to get one for myself. Along with the Scurvy t-shirt. Unfortunately I couldn't stay up to 1 AM EST to get the Survival Kit shirt. Oh well... hopefully it'll come up for $15 on their Top 25 list.

Well, I did my part and got the Boston Acoustics Bookshelf Speakers for $70. Our existing speakers are old and crappy, so hopefully this should be an upgrade at half the cost of retail.
BTW, anyone know where to get good speaker cable? I should probably replace that as well. |

If I knew you were ordering, I'd have gotten one for you as thanks. I also ordered the 2-D Space Invaders shirt and that *sweet* Day of the Dead shirt. |

That 2-D Space Invaders shirt looked fun. Also I liked the Zombie Hunting one .
I also want them to re-release the Genghis Khan one. Maybe next Day of Reckoning .

Don't know anything about the speakers - too bad, could use a decent surround sound set.

I wonder if the wife would notice $1600 missing from the house fund (or the huge new TV in the living room)?

1600:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
I have a smaller Olevia, but I would never buy one that large without at least seeing it first. A 50" Panasonic plasma is going to trump picture quality on this guy all day all night. For the same price. |

Yeah, thats really not a great price. My dad just bought a 46" samsung 4661f (IIRC) for like $1400 from best buy. Much better TV. I only paid like $800 for my 42" Vizio, and its still a better TV than that Olevia

I'm not sure you did remember that correctly. That TV is on sale for $1,850 + tax at Best Buy. Methinks you're off by $500+ on the price. I'm sure it's a good TV, but it's nowhere near $1,400. |

He bought it the week after xmas, when it was, in fact, $1400 at Best Buy (or Circuit City), and a couple of other places. |

Yeah, there were some pretty sweet deals at that point. I have nowhere near the money my dad has, so I bought a Vizio GV42LF (1080p,42") for like $800 from sears. Prices have come back up, but they'll be rolling out new lines in the next couple months, and things will go back down. |

a 47" toshiba hl167 was 1499 last week at sears, plus there was another 100 dollar rebate you could get w/ sears card. Much better TV most likely, though not as good as samsung.

Quite clearly an April Fools Woot-Off though.. everything is a Black & Decker battery (though I think there was one BoC lodged in the middle).

I typically will give refurbs or recerts a try. But a hard drive? Who the hell would risk that?
At most it might not be a bad idea if you were going to enclose it and use it as a portable or something. I guess then the 750 gig for 69 bucks aint too bad. |

Incorrect. The Blu-ray player listed is a 1.1 player. Quote:
Honestly, unless your a geek about the special features, profile 1.1 players should work just fine for you. The only thing you won't get is 'Live'. |
