It may be mob mentality calling you out to me, but it feels like you were swinging the vote a bit to protect people, there.

As for PB, with all the insanity going on late, I think we touched a wolf somewhere in the 3 on the block. Of those 3, I'm thinking PB.

Swinging the vote? Here's my vote recap

Voted Jackal, randomly. He's a buddy ol' pal of mine so I knew he was least likely to get offended, frankly.

Voted hoops when I felt people were consolidated. A bit hair-trigger there, compounded by the fact that I made it then basically didn't check in again until this AM

Voted cronin, as the 1st voter mind you and the person who brought up the cronin-changing-stance theory.

I don't honestly see where that's swinging a vote per se'. 1st voter twice and 2nd voter the 2nd time.

I'd agree that at least 1 of those 3 is a wolf, hence why I voted for 2 of them at some point. If PB comes up wolf I'll look terrible, but hey, I can't vote for everyone!

Don't worry, I made the list based on late moves and mine were painfully (emphasized because typing quickly killed my thumb) obvious self-defense votes rather than actual late switches. Eaglesfan just doesn't like me (he knows I'm a Steelers fan).

Maybe that's my problem - I never vote for you or clap (or PB in this game since we were buddies after last game) on day 1 because I'd like for you to be able to play as long as possible because it stinks to be sitting on the outside.

Perhaps your reasoning is why PB randomly voted for me at the start of the day.

Like I said, it may be mob mentality affecting my thoughts on you, with other people bringing you up. Frankly, I questioned myself to include you in people I'm suspicious about when you challenged me the first time on it. *I* don't even like my answer I gave.

Yeah, I try to stick to this theory personally. That and I never vote a new(er) player on Day 1 (like Seolian or dangarion)

Sigh. I have to make this post every game.

I'm always, always quiet on day 1. I don't feel there is enough information to go throwing accusations or ideas around until we've at least had ONE vote/night cycle. Once we get the night results back, I'll start poking around to see if there is anything to go on. It's WAY too early to start calling people out for being quiet at this point.

How did my voting ploy make PB less likely to get lynched? Do you think there were people who were going to vote for PB, but didn't, because of it? Or do you think there were people that were going to move off either hoops or you, but didn't because of it? I don't get how PB could have been lynched if I had my vote on him the whole time. If not for Lathum's vote switch, PB would have been lynched.

Pass if the score is 3-3-3 the generic werewolf player will likely pick one of those players to vote for. If the score is instead 4-4 he will likely pick one of those players to vote for. 1/3 is less than 1/2.

I'm not sure that comparison fits. I think it was PB 3, cronin 3, hoops 2, mccollins 2. My vote on hoops made it 3-3-3, but comparing it to 4-4 isn't apt -- if I voted PB then, it would have been 4-3-2-2. I think this would have made it a two-way race between you and PB. Keep in mind that you had your vote on PB, but he didn't have his vote on you -- I didn't want him to be able to simply place his vote on you out of self defense, which I think he would have done immediately if I voted him then. Instead, I wanted to get some more info out of his vote -- to see who he chooses in that scenario. If he's a wolf, we get some nice data. Anyway, no one who voted for hoopsguy after me kept their vote on him, so I don't think I risked much -- and even if someone did, I was keeping an eye on the vote count, and knew that I would put my vote on him later. Yeah, it's playing with fire a little, but it's not like I'm positive PB is a wolf -- if more people wanted someone else, I would have lived with it, but I don't think people would have not bothered with hoops if I made it 4-3-2-2.

In response to CW, I'll post more when I can. I've only played a few of these games and my posts went up later in the games, especially when I started having ideas on who were the wolves and began playing with them a bit.

Oddly enough I tried to keep up the number of posts when mysecond game started and got killed the first night by a villager with a weapon because they thought I was posting too much. This has kept me in check a bit since then.

I think I know who my vote will go to for day two (if I am still alive at that point) but it is only based on one thing. I realized that I have never been on the same side as this person in any game. In the two games that I was a wolf he was a villager and he has been a wolf the rest of the gmaes I was in.

Granted, this may not be the best thing to go on but he had some suspicious behavior in day one.

I believe Alan was vanilla. Its implied in the rules that roles will be revealed, albeit not always correctly.

I don't know that Alan had significant trust or distrust at this point - by his standards he was playing a pretty low-key game.
