Pass suggested that we include in the brothers bill a clause that the other brother only gets killed 50% of the time

I am not a huge fan of a vote for PAss, I think we should all vote for clap in a show of solidarity for our party leader

Here is a draft bill for consideration. I left out the part about the seerspeaker being from the opposite party, because once the seerspeaker reveals himself, that would make it known to the wolves what party the seer was in. I think instead it should be kept totally random.
NATIONAL SEER COMMUNICATION BILL WHEREAS, the newly created "Seer" possesses unique gifts of insight but limited means of communication: BE IT RESOLVED: The Seer Communications Network is hereby established. This mechanism allows for a member of congress to be named as "SeerSpeaker" and granted certain special attributes:

I like this but wonder about the SeerSpeaker knowing the Seer's identity in case there are conversion possibilities down the line. Maybe the result of the scan is made known to the SeerSpeaker by CR/Olie?

BTW, I added my recommendations for sponsors of the bill. Now we just need Chubby to make an appearance.

I'd go ahead and give him an outline of our bill without too many details. I'm pretty sure Pass will like it better than a brothers act (which is a role I've rarely seen pay off very big either).

Also, I asked CR where this would fall in the political spectrum. If it is strongly Republican, we'll want to decide if it's worth it to still submit it.
Of course, doing so would buy us political capital to hopefully allow Chubby to submit a Dem leaning one tomorrow. We'll see when CR responds. |

I like the concept of the bill, but I think CR will deem it republican leaning since it involves more power for the seer role which could hurt us. However, with Chubby sponsoring the bill and not the party that shouldn't hurt as much.

IN addition, Lathum, we may need some backroom dealings to determine who gets lynched today. Otherwise this could easily turn into Clap vs. KWhit and we don't know the tiebreaker.

Shouldn't be a tiebreaker since KWhit has now said he's not voting for you.
So... Clap still? |

Do we know the tiebreaking process? In the spirit of the game, it might be the Speaker of the House which is good for us.

Still trying to catch up but it looks like the veto overturn isn't going to happen.
We should have pushed for that early. This would have given us a chance to right a wrong from yesterday (which is only a wrong since the veto rulse changed on us in my opinion) and get a veto of a dem bill overturned. That would have given us a boost and then if we got two dem bills passed today it would have really helped us. Especially if the wolves ridered the rep bill (hint to the dem wolves among us!!!). |

1st I just want to apologize for hurting the party last night. I really didn't want to veto the bill as I kinda of figured how bad it would hit us since it was our bill but I was between a rock and a hard place. Everyone was saying to veto so for the village, I think I did the right thing... it's just that it hurt the party
Let me know which bill you want me to propose. I'm fine with either (as well as fine with the BG bill) |

PackFan, you should vote to override the veto of an enormously popular bill.

We are waiting to hear back from CR on the courts opinion of the seer bill and for where it would sit on the spectrum?
Do we have a plan B? The clock, she is a-ticking. I like Lathum's soothsayer suggestion. A Duke bill may also be helpful. |

You honestly think that would help my chances tonight? Granted, on one hand, it is overturning the veto of a popular dem bill - on the other hand, it is going against my party leader (who was the vetoer) Not sure how much sway that would have, but still.

I'm a little worried about getting enough votes if we wait too much longer to submit the bill, though....

I think it is a net positive at no cost. As long as a quorum hasn't voted, it doesn't pass. I'm thinking of doing it myself. |

Slurry:
illini x 2 jeheinz x 1 -- not that I have it in for him, but we hit him yesterday, he has been under the radar today, and we are a little at risk of being deep in the minoity. If he does lose, he has a shot at election again, which we can quietly allow to happen. Support: PackerFan obviously With the bills all passing (presumedly) will that be enough of a boost to bring Henry, KWhit and Path to victory? |

OK, pass wrote back
basicly Clap acted on his own then tried to drum up support to back him. Pass thinks Clap is a little to in the know about things only wolves would know so he thinks loosing him would be no big deal. He felt I should have mentioned we were going to vote as a block against Clap. I told him I disagree and clap bough it on himself. he also seemed confuded about the bill, he is thinking they would be linked like brothers, I informed him that was not the case. |
