Yeah after she barely won re-election you would have thought she might have tried to keep out of the limelight a bit, adopt more moderate positions on issues to get some of the independent/moderate voters back. But no she went full psycho instead.



There are times when I wish the Constitution had a recall procedure. In today's partisan times, it would be abused big time. It would have to be very strongly and precisely worded so it couldn't be used to remove someone just for being from the other party. Come from citizens of a state, not a political action group, party, or large donors to campaigns. Any election crime that they admitted to/convicted of, violent crimes, lying about their record/history when running for election, calling for insurrection or harm of members of Congress, general embarassments like Boebert. I know they can Expel a member but nothing seems to be enough today to warrant that.



I will be curious to see if there's some Dems who try to get her Expelled.

Bruce Friedman, the Clay County parent who has challenged hundreds of books in his district, said via email that he did not consider himself part of the problem.

Popping this in here. As you may be aware, my daughter goes to a Catholic school. Whether I agree with everything under the Catholic dogma, we have agreed to have her get a Catholic education.

Our daughter came home yesterday and said her religion teacher said that infertile people should not get married in the church. My wife sent an email asking for clarification, since besides being ridiculous, the actual Catholic canon is that of course infertile people can get married in the church... it's as much about God's love as it is having babies.

The teacher responded that it came up during a discussion of gay marriage. She meant infertile people can marry right now, but as science advances it would be improper to get married if you are unable to conceive.

My wife is livid, since she was told she shouldn't have kids due to the likely complications, and subsequently we cannot have more children. Nevermind the countless biblical stories of infertile women having children, assuming you want to believe in miracles. Oh, and the whole foundation of a virgin having a kid.

To say we are livid and want this person's head on a pike is an understatement. It sounds like the teacher subscribes to the nutty Amy Comey Barrett quiverfull movement. Add in that most days our kid says they spend most of their classes listening to music on their phones or talking quietly, and the $5k tuition increase next year... Probably the closest we've come to just looking for the best Public school in the area.
