I just had an epic battle. I'm very lucky that I had purchased a healing potion from the Djinni yesterday, as I needed it and still very nearly died.

It was a statue. Simple enough, right? Not so much.

I attacked it and all hell broke loose. I almost died twice, but finally on my last legs, down to just 2 HP, I connected and took him down.

I heard a voice from above tell me that I had defeated the most powerful foe in the area (I'm still in the lightest colored brick area) and gained a ton of gold, a ton of XP, and jumped to level 3.

Boo Yah.

I have to think that the next room I'm entering may have been to the left of someone's starting room. I saw what Poli had (dozens of crawling claws which is a wee-bit intimidating), did anyone else have a room to the left of their starting room?

The scroll is Protection From Acid. Probably has limited uses in the dungeon, but it could save your life in the right situation. Sells for a decent amount. I will send it back to you tomorrow-remind me!
