Chubby, there's a chance anyone is a mobster. I think the odds of being a mobster and playing in a way where you're rather likely to draw a scan does not make sense. I think the odds are better of finding a bad guy (not neutral with unknown intentions or abilities) with almost anyone else.

I feel pretty lousy about the current top choices.

I disagree-if you are not a a member of the Mob then you are a threat to them no matter your alignment/role. I'm guessing they have no more clue as to who you are then us citizens do. Oh sure they could use you as a distraction by keeping you alive, but who knows what mysterious power you will get if you were telling the truth? Or what will really happen if you didn't tell the truth at all and are lynched anyway?

I don't know, but the low percent chance of him being a criminal is the salient point. We don't know Danny's motivations, but we know there are pure criminals out there trying to kill us, probably with their own array of abilities.

And if you're intent on finding them, I would suggest you guys perhaps lean towards another candidate other than Zinto and Mauboy.

I don't understand why Danny would make a bad reveal early in Day 1, but I can't come up with any reason for him to do it as a vanilla villager - which is what I believe we all are at this point, with roles coming later in the game, correct?

Assuming I'm not missing something obvious, that would suggest that Danny is either a neutral with motives we can't discern or a sloppy wolf. I really don't think it is the latter, but I don't have any particularly strong reasons to vote for either Zinto or Mauboy over him either ... chances seem significantly higher that those guys are villagers than Danny.

So, with that in mind,

Eh, not thrilled with this vote, actually. I like the rational for it in the abstract but not as much with it being Danny.

Also don't like the Zinto logic for reasons stated earlier by Danny - butchering an unvote/vote and not coming back to clean it up don't seem too wolfish.

Mauboy - I don't like pushing him into the lead with my vote and Danny potentially following it. He feels like the "last villager standing" at the moment.

So I'll go with a vote that I do feel a little better about, even if he is in the distance a little bit ... figure with 10 of us online now it might turn out being a better option.
