Looking at other people's drafts to this point, I would say Packer has the best class followed a bit behind by Danny. Glad you guys aren't in my conference.

My pointless observations so far:

Best Drafts:
Blue Feltvet- don't like Lynch at 4 and that's as the owner who rode him to the title along with McCoy last year; I would have done Turner or Charles but like the rest
Roadkill Cafe- would not have done Greene (Redman) or Britt (Floyd) when he picked them but love covering up Vick with Rivers and the WR and RB are solid
FOFC All Stars - don't like Davis (Floyd, Young, or Boldin) but like the rest; I might have waited on Ryan and picked up Charles and then take my chances at either Ryan or Rivers

Most Complete Teams:
Klein Bottles - could have RB trouble but like WR corps and Brady
Molly Murphys - great RBs and WRs but light at QB
Callous Dowboys - ferocious receivers and good QB combo; RB health issues but they're solid

I think Nate Washington will be pretty good this year.

Britt seems like a total mystery to me. He could show up and play awesome like he is capable and Washington would be overshadowed with yards and points taken away (20%) or even improve because he has a competent receiver on the other side of the field (10%), he could be injured/suspended part of the season and eat into Washington's numbers enough to make him inconsistent (40%), he could just not even play a majority of the year due to injury/suspension which would make Washington's numbers stay what they were last season (20%) or go up (10%). And unfortunately that insanity plays a huge bit into what Washington will do.

Then with Washington there's the chance of injury, Wright passing him on the depth chart, regression chances, etc. But he could also improve. I just was scared off by having his odds depend on what Britt, a complete wildcard, does.

Happy to get Fred Davis, think he'll be a real safety blanket for RG3.

Britt is boom bust. Could easily be a top 10 wr after his likely sispensions or completely worthless. Easily worth the gamble to me where I too him though. Only pick I'm a little iffy on is Ridley cause right after I picked him new reports came out about his fumbling issues coming back.

Hey guys. I texted sal to let him know it has been his turn for a while. He travels a lot for work and may have been unavailable yesterday. Either way I think we are way ahead of schedule.

Agreed - I think we will easily be able to finish by next weekend, and even then we'd still have two weeks. Well done so far, gents (and lady )

We're not actually required to field a complete team in week 1, right?

There are about 5 defenses that look alike to me. It could have been any of those- I just didn't want to end up with none of them.

We should try to finish this up. Last I checked, just a bunch of defenses and kickers left to go

I figured I might need a warm body in week 1 if Wallace and Austin aren't ready so Santana Moss, come on down. He should start and they'll be playing New Orleans so it might be a track meet.

I'm hoping Buffalo, with their defensive additions in the offseason, can buck my trend of picking a craptastic defense every draft.

Defenses are such a crapshoot for the most part, I am a fan of not reaching for one before I absolutely need to.

Season hasn't even started yet and I have already lost a guy to a season-ending injury. Granted, it was my kicker, but still - better not be a sign of things to come...

Or maybe you've used up your allotted season-ending injury on a kicker. Sounds like fine luck to me

Welp. You can't win if you can't score touchdowns.

I wasn't sure Morris would start, so I benched him in favor of another RB. I'd still be behind, but at least it'd be closer. I considered starting Jeffrey too, but didn't think the Bears would put up that many points.

C'est la vie.

Well, I'm annoyed. I'm going to do the "score the 2nd most points in the league and lose to the top scorer" thing this week unless McFadden doesn't play tonight for some unforeseen reason

If AJ green scores 14 or less, I'll win because of Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne!

Reggie Wayne seemed like such a good bargain this year (I snagged him in the other league I play in). Yes, he's old. Yes, he could fall off a cliff. But if Indy is anywhere remotely near mediocre on offense, he could be a really cheap 1000 yard receiver.

I agree. It was hard for me to not pick him in every league, but I had to avoid him in some just to make sure.

Very happy that my Alfred Morris gamble paid off. Of course, I also left AP on the bench, so I'm not as smart as I think.

I did the same with AP in my other league. I figured if he got carries, it wouldn't be that much. So much for easing him back in...

Make that 3 of us who had AP on the bench this week. It didn't cost me a win, thankfully.

Anyone else see that 50-yard bomb to Lloyd? He was 5-10 yards beyond the nearest defender, steps from the goalline, but Brady overthrew him. So close to a win this week. Still a chance at least, but I don't feel confident for tonight.
