My guess is that you were sort of seer-scanned. Alan likes to have semi-seers in his games, and that's my guess as to what happened to you. I don't know anything, though. I suppose it could have been malicious. |

that's neither here nor there. we can discuss it outside the confines of this game sometime soon, or after this game is over and i'll explain what I meant. But basically it doesn't matter, because i'm not the type of person to hold onto those negative emotions and let them consume me. We're good man. |

DaddyTorgo has clearly indicated that you investigated an item. I would expect you could answer "yes/no" about if it was an item that would identify him as a hacker. I wasn't pushing this angle at all earlier because it didn't impact me and was willing to give some clearance to all parties involved once the explanations were offered. I went as far as to back DaddyTorgo as judge candidate. I'm not looking to fry him here (particularly if he isn't the guy who hacked me), but I am obviously interested in learning who was poking around my systems. If you feel that the info (yes/no answer) is on a need-to-know basis and I don't need to know that is your choice. Just don't expect me to be pleased with that answer after you both have come as far as you already have with handing out information. |

hoops...i'll answer that, although I suspect you'd rather blade's response.
it was nothing that could identify me as a hacker. It was something that one...puts on. (trying to respect blade's desire not to say anything concrete) and it wasn't me who hacked your computer. |

Outside of liking my privacy and my freedom, and detesting those who infringe upon them, I don't have anything to hide. The fact that someone was snooping around my stuff doesn't necessarily indicate to me that they had the best intentions of the city at heart. I considered your position for about 30 seconds before I reported it to the police. If cyber-crime is how we self-police our citizens, then that is not a government that I will defend. |

Putting together what Blade, Anxiety, and DaddyTorgo have said in the last few posts, I am going to guess that Blade was fondling DT's jockstrap.
And hoops, I understand your position. I'm just taking a guess, that's all. What happened to you doesn't seem like a "mafia" type crime. But I suppose there may be other citizens, not aligned with the mafia, who we don't want loose. |

I appreciate the feedback. And I would have been fine with a "yes/no" answer from you as well in order to respect your privacy. Although you are correct that the vouching from Blade6119 in regards to that item would carry more weight. |

We know we have good, bad and neutrals in the city. I would suspect that the hacker (who I imagine is the one who 'investigated' hoo's computer) would be in the neutral category.

If I had my druthers on who to bully around here, Blade6119 would be near the top of the list. I've got no beef with the guy who I voted for Judge, so long as I have reason to believe he isn't after me lucky charms (argh).

no one really jumps out as suspicious, but i'm loath to not place a vote, I have a feeling Alan has some mechanism in place that seriously discourages that from his hinting.

Anyone know what we need to get today for a lynch? I looked over the rules again, but I must be missing it.

While I'm still not satisfied with having Anxiety as our judge, I did vote for him. I was thinking about voting for DaddyTorgo, but I don't like his vote against Marathoner.

Person with most votes generally wins the lynch. However do not be suprised if there are other things that factor into the equation causing the top vote getter to not end up being lynched. You'll know for sure when you read it in the papers. |

The Big City Herald
Edition 5 Time's ticking down for judicial election With just a small amount of time left in the current election for the Big City judge, it appears the citizens of this fine town have been unable to reach a consensus on who the new judge should be. Our sources tell us that exit poll information reveal we might be as close to 3 votes short for one of the candidates. Once shame on you, Twice shame on me From the pages of the bizarre... one would think after being violated you would protect yourself from having it occur again. Evidentally one overly-trusting citizen of our town figured lightning wouldn't happen twice in the same spot. Just minutes after the police leave from investigating his previous crime report, he reports being hacked once again. Maybe tommorrow's pawn shop store sell will be computer protection. Quote:
