You own the team now, so I won't worry about making the offer.

Per stamina settings.

What I do is set my RB to relaxed right after the game. The next day I get most of the stamina back, above 90, and then go back to intense training. Seems to be working ok and Johnny Thunder is close to 20 stamina now... working on speed so I can follow my blocks and get out of the backfield a little better.

Going pure str right now for our kicker, as he seems to miss at least one FG per game between 30-40 yards. His kicking skills are great, with big boot and good confidence just not enough str right now.

Just created a guard. Going to be focusing on run blocking with this guy at first.

Guard Profile Link

Just boosted him to level 4 and if any FOFC owners out there need a guy for the trenches, let me know.

I think it's cheaper to do two normal training sessions instead and you'll get the same amount of energy back.

Are the concessions turned off right now?

I just took a team over (West Bend Warlocks) and all the concession sales were at 0 for all the home games.

Figure everything is overpriced or the sales are off right now.

Hey welcome aboard! I didn't realize I had snagged a FOFC'er.

If anyone has a FB, S, DT or G laying around, I'd be happy to give them a job. The Tottenham Trolls in Western Europe AAA.

Man I am losing guys left and righ on all offers.

I have decided to max their daily and give a large signing bonus to see if I can build a squad.

That's funny...I thought your offer was the best fit for each of my guys individually - though not the highest. There are some silly contract offers being made to guys. I created a lvl 4 SS this afternoon, and some team offered me $45k signing, $123k/yr for 1 yr. I figure he'll be insolvent after that year, but I'll take my $170k, starting spot and a year of development. Figure the money in the bank will let me go based purely on situation (eg. good owner/winning team/etc) down the road.

LB Nuke Laloosh is a buddy of mine from work. He'll take good care of his guy. fyi, he's focusing solely on basic tackling stuff, ignoring sacking/int specialities for raw run-stuffing - I would imagine his future should be at MLB once he levels up a bit ahead of the CPU options.

After creating my 3rd player, i decided to buy a team myself in the West European AAA league. If any of you is still looking for a team, i can use starting DT, DE, WR and FS.

I'd ask you to attempt to save my guard from his new player owner, but it looks like your set at the position for now.

Just looking to cover max training costs at this point, given all the posts about owners overpaying for players I didn't figure it would be a problem... Between the two players I have who's teams were just purchased the best offer I had was exactly enough to cover max training with no signing bonus, for four years.

Needless to say I'll stick to training at a slight loss with my original cpu contract until this season is over and look for greener pastures.

My FB got to level 3. Looking for a better team as we just lost 0-79. Their starting QB had 611 yards and 8 TDs on us.

I posted several threads in the Silverbacks forums, especially one regarding player builds. Please read these.

Also, we desperately need backups on the OL and DL. Anyone wants to build one and sign on, even if only lvl 1, it would be very helpful.

Ok, created yet another guard to try a different approach with. If anyone needs any o-line help, Frank Kinard is a new free agent available.
Profile Link

Trying a more ability based approach with this one, but still focusing on run blocking. Also have 4 more skill points I can tack on through equipment once he's signed.

And yes, he was inspired after seeing this Link.

Yes, he's a tackle, but while looking for a good name for a guard I read the nick name, viewed his page and knew I had the name for my new player.

Just sent you an offer. I need a G badly as only have one and have a level 2 center playing the other G position. We are in West European League AAA level and this team looks promising after some FA's I signed including a level5 QB. If you prefer any other offer don't worry, this is just a game to have fun

larry, what OL position do you need a backup in? Looks like either G or T. I'll make one today at either position that's needed.

Edit: Since Trent made an OT, I'll make an OG Mo Jolley.

Does anyone know what happens to players as they age? Are they just on a permanently upward trajectory (a la Dungeons and Dragons) until they're 54 years age and level 87?

At some point I believe they said they will age, plateau and then decline and then retire. You will get back an as yet undetermined % of your flex points back.

At least that is what I've seen in the forums.

The game's developer said that you'd get back 70% of FP invested in a player, but they haven't decided when the mando retirement point would be.

I'd prefer to see skill attrition and let us decide when to retire a player...more realistic, more interesting from a gaming perspective.

There is a retirement option on a player's page, that lets you retire your player at any time and you get to keep 100% of the flex points that you initially spent on creating that player. The initial 100, 200 or 300 flex points depending upon you position. You also get back 70% of the flex points you spent on any personal equipment and 70% of the flex points you spent on leveling up that player.

Edit: You can only retire your player if you are a free agent or on a CPU team. If you are on a human owned team, you must either get released or wait until your contract is up before you can retire that player.

I might just end up retiring and re-creating him. I just feel bad because I responded to a post of his in the team forums about looking forward to his ideas on a ground pounding offense.. Then I saw his contract offer and decided it might be better to try and find another team.

I do have to say this game even as simple as it is at the moment has it hooks into me. My first player who I had thought of as a "throw away" player after thinking I made horrible choices in the build had a decent game today even though it was in a loss. I'm really looking forward to seeing how my other guards do so I can compare results from the different builds.

It has got me hooked, too. I am up to 16 players, one for each position that you can create, almost all of them still at level 1. All of them are on different teams at the moment, and over half of them are on human owned teams. The only thing I don't like about the game is the servers.

I didn't think it was that bad, but I had only been to the site in weird hours (The one benefit of working 3rd shift. ).Today though, its really tested my patience. Luckily I'm addicted enough to realize its still a beta and and have hope eventually it will get better.

The constant waiting for the server has had me start flow-charting out a crude abstracted football engine based loosely on the attribute/skills that Goal line blitz uses. I'm thinking I could really enjoy a single player version of this game. Its the type of game I've been dreaming of since playing New Star Soccer and ITP Baseball.(Yes, I actually bought and enjoyed ITP). Might have to put my Torque 2D license to use for a spiffy game replay, perhaps even a real time display.

For me, I have had an idea like this forever. However, I wanted it a fully immersive 3D MMORPG engine...with you choosing to be an Owner, Player, GM, Scout, Coordinator, with a real world. All games being played real time, so if you as a player can't make it, you would have a macro set up for how they would react in game time.
