Question: Do we have to vote every time? Since we aren't getting any points out of this round, do we still need to vote? Will we be penalized for not voting?

Is the second post in the thread ever going to be edited to show the current tribes, or is it going to remain static throughout the game?

Only requirement is that each player must vote at least once. Now if someone other than you Jonathan were to come around before the next block and vote it would count to the individual vote standings, but have no impact on the overall scoreboard.

sometimes it is best to not overthink things. The thing that led me to believe they are wolves were the comment about to many people volunteering and how those who did volunteer need to keep it to themselves. Seemed obvious to me. Last edited by Lathum : 02-07-2007 at 11:24 AM. Reason: color |

Some tribes may know. Also, some tribes may not have ANYBODY who volunteered. Both of those possibilities are what make that theory a little too unlikely in my opinion. |

Well, you know, at first I found this suspicious, because why vote for a guy who isn't here, because you can't do the whole Counterspell thing with it (see: Magic the gathering), but, since you have to vote for someone, I guess this makes sense the more I think about it.

Makes sense to just get the vote out there, even if I don't like it too much because it's against one of my guys. But I can't really blame you for it.

But for the smaller teams of 4 now, we have a general idea. Especially if you know you didnt get whatever the volunteers got. From there, i can make assumptions about which of the 3 others would be likely to volunteer and make my own guesses as to what that means

If somebody POSTS that they have volunteered that is a violation of the rules. There are many ways a tribe could know who volunteered without that person posting. |

I haven't encountered any in this game. I can't really think of anything that would show if someone had VOLUNTEERED or not -- a seer wouldn't tell you if someone had volunteered or not, it would just tell you if someone is bad, which is related but a distinct issue. |

Let's not lie to ourselves. This is still Werewolf. Most of the posts in this thread are going to be trying to probe for unknown information right now, because I'm pretty certain none of us really know anything. I sure as heck don't. I'm not really going to get on blade for trying to learn something because I think we could all use more knowledge right now. |

Yes, I agree. But I've been very straightforward with my questions and theories today (and last night). I'm not trying to figure out anybody's tribal strategy. |

I think it is still important to share information and wolf theories with each other in this thread. If we only talk overall game strategy in our individual tribal threads, we'll lose a lot. Theories build on themselves, and without talking some of this stuff through as a big group, the wolves will pick us apart.
