Right, this is not a clear cut case of you being bad, just that your vote doesn't look good because of mau. But if more things are revealed it could easily make your vote look not as bad. |

I'm a little worried to see people "following me" on Saldana, especially before I even voted him.

There wasn't a lot of thought behind it - had worked a bit later than normal, so didn't have a lot of time to think, and just wanted to get a vote out there (thinking that I had another hour to take my time, and switch if necessary - didn't realise until after the deadline at 7pm UK time that you guys had already changed your clocks, so it's only a 4 hour gap to US Eastern right now). The rough thought behind my vote was to keep the vote close - in hindsight (given that it was pretty close to deadliine, and that we have a few people whose votes can/might count double), this probably wasn't the best idea, but there's nothing that can be done about that now. |

JAG, you have to agree that lynching two villagers is a bigger screwup than lynching one, right?

Of course. I'm hopeful we only lynched one wolf however, though I would accept us lynching two.
Seriously, why would I vote like that if I thought I was lynching two V's? With 10 mins to go, all sorts of vote movement can happen. |

The Family gets together again to figure out which one of you is the traitor. Seems like more discussion than yesterday, but eventually the hit is ordered on saldana. You check out his place, and see a stacks of reels, and scripts piled up everywhere. However, you see no evidence that he acted against the Family. saldana was Jack Woltz and was good!
Early the next morning, you wake up to the sound of a struggle, some choking, then a thud. It sounds like it's coming from the room of Sonny Corleone. You run to his room to find he had been choked to death, the typical method employed by Luca Brasi. Vito breaks down, crying, "Look what they did to my boy!" Everyone sits around plotting revenge against Luca, until they see all sorts of notes referencing the Barzini Family. Lathum was Sonny Corleone and a traitor! Later that day, as everyone gathers together, you realize that Tessio is missing. Reports come in indicating that this was another hit ordered by traitors to the Corleone Family. Danny was Tessio and was a good guy! |

That's not a terrible string of results for us. The wolves lost an unknown neutral who's vote counts double, and we lost two people who's only powers are PM rights. Granted they can't confirm their partners identities now, but they wouldn't have been sure they weren't wolves anyways. But since we've found a wolf in the unknowns, it seems to me there might not be anymore in that group. Not definite, but a step in the right direction. Good hit by Luca.

Crazy call to make a hit this soon, but Luca's either really lucky or found something out somehow. Wow.
Takes me forever to look up these characters each time. Not a good lynch. I'm going to take a look at people who seemed willing to follow my advice onto Saldana. And Danny is a really curious choice there. |

Interesting that they went after Danny though, since he hasn't been active and it was going to start causing trouble for him. Guess they feared him as an active villager later in the game!

I could hug whoever Luca is for that - even if rationally it was a terrible risk to take for the village and something I said no-one should do.
Taking out Danny seems a bit weird. |

Honestly my guess is that Lathum was the N1 scan by Hagen, and that's how Luca knew to use the kill. You guys are right in that it would've been a terrible risk otherwise.

Not our finest moment on the voting front. However, nice and ballsy move Luca, that role is meant to be used against guys like Lathum .

So having voted for two villagers and told the bodyguard/hitman not to kill anyone I think I can safely say that everyone should do the opposite of what I say from now on.

I don't see anything in the rules about Luca being able to PM. I just can't figure that move out unless it's the greatest read in the history of WW.

Is it possible Darth is a wolf being the last person on Tyke or do you guys think that was just a case of inactiveness? I am not sure how people would read into his vote being the only one that isn't a confirmed villager.

I think Darth had said he likely wasn't going to be able to check-in after his morning vote, but I'll let him answer these sort of things.

That I didn't expect - nice job by Luca Brasi, but not good to have lynched a villager.
Quote:
This sounds good on first impressions, but I don't see anything that suggests that Hagen has PM rights with Luca. It seems more likely to me that Luca saw something, or just thought that it was worth the risk to take Lathum out of the game. |

I think a move was made on Lathum's reputation(that or it was personal). Risky as hell. But now that it's done I'm not going to argue it .

I see there was a traitor nailed today, which is great news, though we lost two in the process. I doubt that I will have much time to participate in this game with the deadline as it is.
Voting now to start the conversation rolling and as a place holder. I will check back in and change it if anything comes up that would change my mind about that. I would be surprised if that were to happen though, or totally reading things incorrectly. At this point it's between jeff and darth in my mind. vote jeff061 |

That Lathum wanted to look away from the D1 Mau voters and towards the unknowns is interesting. He also initially voted Tyke so that makes me feel pretty good about him.

You know, it would be nice not be in this position a few minutes post deadline just once this game .
In anycase, I'm likely not going to be around heavily until tomorrow morning. But is it because I was the villager who came in 2nd or something else? |

Yeah, the fact that this was a surprise for Lathum should help us a bit. From his point of view we were about to lynch Saldana and then Danny would be killed. He had not votes, no reason to think anyone was onto him, I don't think.
