Jets release LeVeon Bell. Should've released Adam Gase along with him.

I'd love to see him end up in Arizona...

That was quite the beat down by the Titans. They have quietly impressed despite there obvious Covid fuck ups. They might be a dark horse in the AFC if they the season plays out and is not killed by Covid eventually.

Yup so says the SEC top teams that conducted that all summer too. I guess I did not give Vrabel as much credit as to how much he picked up from Belicheat.

Can we please make Tuesday Night football a thing? Or at least multiple MNF games each week? I know it's hard to always ensure that there isn't an ass game on Thursday or Monday, but simply avoiding the Jets/Giants/FootballTeam/Jaguars/Browns/Bengals is probably a good start for matchups.

Falcons closing the team facility due to multiple positive tests. Should have tried this 5 games ago.

Le'Veon Bell has narrowed his choice of next team to the Dolphins, Bills and Chiefs. The Jets next opponents - Dolphins, Bills and Chiefs.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

What a wuss if so.

You lost your job to BDN. It happens. Don't whine about it and ask for a trade.

Also, if Chicago trades him, that is the textbook definition of selling low. They'd probably get a better compensatory pick letting him leave as a free agent than trading him now.

Not sure I agree with your take. Look at a guy like Tannehill. Got out of Miami and has turned into a stud. Mitch probably looks at a situation like that and thinks that could be him and wants a change of scenery.

Who would be the backup? Bears are sitting at 4-1 and not only is Foles an injury risk but you've got the Covid wildcard too. I'd keep him just as insurance for the rest of the season since they stand a good chance of making the playoffs.

I can see that.

There's something about Trubisky that just rubs me the wrong way, so I am sure that's coloring my view of the situation.

I don't think the Bears trade him in any event anyway, unless someone hilariously overpays. Nick doesn't exactly have a track record of health, and if you trade Trubisky, you have ... Tyler Bray backing him up.

I would have thrown my computer out of the window after the play, not after the decision was made.

But I don't think the decision was the right one. But there's really no "right" decision in a situation like that.

I would prefer to hedge my bets on multiple stop scenarios, rather than risk giving Russell Wilson a shot at a game-winning drive. I understand the idea of "playing to win on this play", but I don't think it's the call that would result in a higher winning % over time in repeated instances.

There's really no reason to watch the first 57-58 minutes of a Bears game. It's just bad football and if you seen one you've seen them all.

I love the "Y'all had no idea how much we hated our coach" dominating win by a team the week after the coach gets fired.

Some quick Googling says basically that their defense was worn down to the point of being done so they felt like their best chance to insure a win was by going up 9 (figuring that their chances in OT were very low)

Fangio coaches exactly like he looks - a 70s throwback. I HATED the decision to punt on 4th and a half-yard on the Pats 40, 8 minutes left. Get the 1st down, and even if you only get, say, 6 yards on the next series of downs, you probably run 1:30 off the clock and set McManus up for a FG attempt. Instead, they punt, get called for kick interference and give the Pats the ball at the 35. And let them right back in the game.

I want a coach who takes the right risks and isn't playing not to lose because it's the safe thing to do. It's 2020.

Dolphins/Jets game just entered the 4th quarter and neither team has converted a 3rd down (0-18 combined).

Joe Flacco took a 28 yard sack. Honestly, if he took a shotgun snap and immediately turned around and started running the other way, I'm not sure he goes 30 yards before he gets tackled. But apparently it just happened, and he was presumably trying to go forward at some point.

They better put the doughnut in the EZ vs the chiefs are they are going to get smoked. I was disappointed they could not score any TDS. The defense played well but think the Pats we’re very rusty.

Devin Bush being hurt is a huge problem. When the Steelers defense lacks that splash god in the middle(polamalu, then shazier), it often looks ordinary.

Really nice moment in the Fins game. Tua comes in late for the last drive. Crowd erupts and Fitzpatrick is encouraging the cheers.
