The Champions League Quarter Finals, 2nd Leg
Away at Roma, I begin countering, we only won 1-0 at home so any tie, any win, or any one goal loss where we score at least 1 goal gets us through. Let’s be professional. Notes 31st Minute – They get a red card on a professional foul against Burgzorg Cebellos is banged up and I send in Thiago for him HALF – We have 5 shots to their 6. Don’t get complacent! 67th Minute – Corner kick, Thiago to Berardi! That’s probably the QF, they need to score 3 goals to win now that we have 1 away goal. Mateo for a tired Farfan; Mariano for a tired Mendez 90th Minute – On another corner kick, Politano feeds Rubio for goal Nice times twice! That’s game! We win 2-0, MOM is Lirola’s 8.6 rating. Dortmund host Barcelona and…they tie 1-1 and Barca are through to the Semis We win 6.5 Mill OL host Man City; OL win 3-2 and knock out Man City Juve head to PSG; Juve tie 1-1 and are through Two Italy teams in the semis!

We draw Juve in the Semis and OL gets Barcelona. That means Italy is guaranteed to get to the Final, and France has a chance of getting OL to the Final just one year after PSG and Monaco made it. OL have knocked out several powerhouses to get to the Semis.
Serie A Game #32 – Away at #3 Palermo – I stay countering, they always play up to us, and this could be rough… Notes They get two early cards 27th Minute- They score a long shot 38th Minute – Lirola crosses to Ceballos for goal to tie it 1-1 HALF – We have 10 shots to their 7. I’ll take a tie against these folks. 49th Minute – On a counter, Vicente shoots, the ball is blocked by their GK, Cebellos leaps on the rebound and sinks it. Gautier for a 6.5 Politano; 64th Minute – OG by Rubio, I send in Mateo for him Mariano for a banged up Mendez Five Minutes to break the 2-2 tie 2-2 tie, MOM is Cebellos Juve thump Atalanta 5-0 and are now in first by 2 points. That was a quick amount at the top of the table… We qualify for the Champions Cup next year

Mendez gets a 200k goal bonus for his 20th league goal. Nicely done!
I link Ghoulam and Burgzorg Donnarumma with Racero Gautier and Cebellos Champions Cup Semi Final 1st Leg Here is our history against Juventus. Year 1 - When we finished 5th and Juve finished 2nd to Palermo by two points we dropped both home and away to Juventus Year 2 – We finished 2nd to Juventus by 2 points. We lost at home to Juventus earlier in the year. Then with one game left we headed to them with a win and move into first and we tied them 0-0. That was our first result against them Year 3 – We finished 1st and Juventus 4th. We lost to them on the road, and then we beat them 1-0 at home for our first result against Juventus. Year 4 – Serie A – We lost to Juventus 1-0 at home and beat them 4-2 on the road for a 4-3 aggregate. We each won in the other’s backyard, odd. And now we take our 2-1-5 record to the Semis. If we can get through Juventus we can make the Finals of the Champions League. If we can double our 4-2 or a big win effort today away at them we’ll build a nice foundation for finishing professionally. Away at Juventus – I begin countering. Notes 13th Minute – They score off a corner. We can’t give up set pieces if we want to win Thiago for a carded Arena 17th Minute – They score again…uh oh… 25th Minute- They score…on another corner…well I think we’re out of this one HALF – Nope! 47th Minute – They score again 58th Minute – They score again Mateo for Farfan 70th Minute – They score again Ghoulam for Burgzorg 85th Minute - Lirola is injured and we are down a man We lose 0-6 That is our biggest loss in the Italian dynasty.

4th – Home vs Cremonese 8th – Home vs Juventus, SF 11th – Away at Napoli 15th – Neutral vs Roma – Italian Cup Final 19th – Home vs Udinese 22nd – Away at Bologna 26th – Away at Roma, A Good training – La Rosa, Lirola, Burgzorg Mendez named in Team of the Month OL host Barcelona and…they tie 0-0. Serie A Game #34 – Home vs #19 Cremonese – I begin controlling Notes 3rd Minute – Vicente feeds Cebellos on an attack run for goal 12th Minute – Politano dribbles past a defender, drives the corner, crosses to Mendez, the GK fouls him going for the ball, up steps Berardi and…he sinks it 38th Minute – Arena feeds Mendez for goal HALF – Good half! 47th Minute – On a corner, they foul us in the box, and…Berardi sinks another PK La Rosa for Rubio; Gautier for Politano; Enea for Lirola We hold and win 4-0. MOM is Cebellos The table after 34 Juve are still In front by 2 points, and we have 4 games left, we need three wins to beat last year’s 28 wins. We are so far in front of Palermo that it’s really just a two team race between us and Juventus, just like year two, and we are down by 2 with just a few games to go. Four games left!

Champions League Semi Final 2nd Leg Barcelona host OL and were 0-0 away at OL with no away goals, so any 1-1 tie or OL win sends them to the finals. Barca win 2-1 and are in the finals against Juventus, likely. Juventus knocked out OL last year, and would have been a great thing to see them in the finals this year, but you can see why they are in the Finals. France came one goal away from a third team in the Finals in two years! We host Juventus - Even if I thumped them 4-0 like my last game, helped by two PKs, we’d lose 4-6 aggregate. We need an apocalyptic result to get to the Final… I begin standardly, vengeance! We lost to them here 1-0 earlier this year. Notes HALF – Quiet half, we each have 5 shots, 2 on target I have 53% possession and they have 5 fouls to our 1. Anyone’s game. Mariano for a 6.2 Mendez; Thiago for Vicente; Bongonda for a tired Cebellos Can we avert a shut out? Nope, 0-0 tie, they have MOM We are out of the Champions’ League offically

Juve head to #4 Palermo and….they win 2-1
Serie A Game #35 – Away at #8 Napoli- I begin countering Notes Ajdapong for a carded Lirola 37th Minute – They score HALF – Show a bit of desire! Bongonda for a 6.4 Berardi 60th Minute – Bongonda’s leg feeds Mendez’s head for the tying score. Gautier for a carded Cebellos 66th Minute – They break the tie off a corner kick, offsides Vicente a card 73rd Minute – Rubio misses an interception that leads to goal 81st Minute – We give up a Pk in the box and…Donnarumma blocks it! Gautier is booked Five Minute s- Can we tie it back? We lose 1-2 Napoli qualified for the EURO. Only if we win the last three matches we cannot equal last year’s result.

The Italian Cup Final
In our 102 year history, this is our first time in the Finals, can we win it all? This year, we have played Roma: Super Cup – 4-0 Serie A – Home – 1-0 Champions QF – Away – 1-0 Home – 2-0 We have not even tied Roma this year…can we make it 5 for 5 and win my first Cup this year? As a reminder, Roma won last year. They always play up to us save for the Super Cup. However, the “Neutral Ground” selected is Roma’s home stadium determined before the season began, so they are home. I begin countering; for the fans! Notes 6th Minute – On a counter, Cebellos feeds Mendez for goal! Nice start! 18th Minute – They score back and tie it. That’s their first goal they’ve scored against us. 21st Minute – Berardi feeds Mendez on a goal to head back in front 2-1 26th Minute – Lirola drives the corner, crosses to Berardi on an attack run, who feeds Politano for goal. Now that’s a big one, to go up by two this close, but remember when we were up 3-0 to Ajax with 30 minutes and they came back and tied us? We injure their DCL and he heads out Mendez is injured and in heads Mariano HALF – 3-1 us, we each have 6 shots and 3 on target, we’ve just sunk all of ours. Don’t get complacent we lost Mendez They sub in Sensi! Mateo for Rubio 77th Minute – Ceballos feeds Berardi for goal! La Rosa for Farfan 80th Minute – A bad clearance for Donnarumma and they score We win 4-2! MOM is on their team That’s winning both Cups this year! We make 4.87 mill in cash

Serie A Game #36 – Home vs #3 Udinese – I begin standarding
Notes Adjapong for a banged up Lirola HALF – We have 4 shots to their 0; nope! 48th Minute – They foul Politano in the box and up steps Berardi and…he is blocked. Bongonda for a 6.3 Berardi; Mariano for a 6.3 Mendez I move to control Three Minutes can we break the tie? We tie 0-0. We are locked into 2nd

With 2 games left, Donnarumma has tied Karius’s best year for shutouts in Serie A at 24. But we have two away games left.
Serie A Game #37 – Away at #6 Bologna – Hello Babacar! I begin countering Notes They get a card in the 1sst minute They get another in the 7th They get another 10 minute later 26th Minute – On a counter Berardi feeds Cebellos Another card for them in the 33rd 45th Minute – They tie before half HALF – We have been good statistically Gautier for a lightly wounded Politano Mateo for a 6.3 Rubio 73rd Minute – They sink a DFK Thiago for Vicente Three Minutes to try and tie it 93rd Minute – They foul Mendez in the box, can Berardi sink it? Nope blocked again… We lose 1-2 One game left

Serie A Game #38 – Away at #8 Roma – Can we make it 6 for 6? I begin countering. This is my 200th game with this team! For the Fans!
Notes HALF – Quiet – we each have 3 shots, 1 on target 47th Minute – On a goal kick, Donnarumma feeds Mendez who heads it down and finishes a 1:1 opportunity with the GK. That’s his 2nd assist this year 54th Minute – Berardi crosses to Politano for goal Mateo for a tired Farfan 67th Minute – They score off a corner, that gives them a way back into this match 68th Minute – A minute later Cebellos feeds Berardi for goal Thiago for Vicente; Ahmetaj for a tired Arena Four Minutes – Can we hold? We win 3-1, MOM is Berardi’s 2 goal game The Table After 38 We finished with 27 wins our 2nd best total. 2nd again with 17 over Palermo. As a reminder only 1-2 to get to the Group Stage, Palermo gets to the Champions Knockout rounds and play in. The 4th spot doesn’t make it in anymore, sorry Udinese. Juventus finished by 8 over us and we faded at the end.

Year Evaluation
GK Donnarumma – 3- Picked up for 13.5 mill from AC Milan, had 6.95 rating, and 24 shutouts in Serie A. I picked him up to get past the better teams at the Champions level and we did and made it to the Semis but the 6 goals allowed to Juve in the Semis hurt us, but even if we only allowed 1 goal we tied them 0-0 in our place, so that wouldn’t have stopped us. I am not changing him. 25 years old starter for the Italy squad, the best Italian GK out there. Here for three more years. 4.5 stars DC Rubio – 3 – Here for four more years, 7.01 rating, capped for Spanish team, 19 years old, wonderkid awesome player, 4 stars. DC Farfan – 2.5 – Counts as homegrown in Italy, 22 years old, we brought in this wonderkid my first year for 2.75 mill from his home nation of Columbia, non-EU, fully grown at 3.5 stars, 6.96 rating his best, 2 MOM, here for one more year DR Lirola – 2 – Homegrown at club, 3 stars, I moved to “stay on feet” for my team after 10 games and loads of fouls, and he stopped being a card machine. 26 years old, 7.06 rating, 2 MOM, 1 assist, signed until 2027. Inherited him. DL Burgzorg – 3 – 19 years old wonderkid Dutch kid I purchased last year for 11 mill. 3 star current, 5 star potential. 7.01 rating in his first year in 25 Serie A Starts. I expect we’ll see him keep growing over time much like Arena. Signed for one more year. DMC Arena – 3 – 4 stars and growing with a 5 star future. Wonderkid just capped by Italy. 20 years old, homegrown at the club. Purchased for 6 mil in Winter of my first year, signed for 5 more years until 2029. 7.08 rating. 2 goals, 1 assist, 2 MOM MC Vicente – 3 – Wonderkid capped by Spain, Signed for 4 more years, 23 years old, 4 star, 4.5 potential, 2.5 mill purchase from my old team my first year and is my oldest signing starting for us with Farfan. 1 goal, 6 assists, 1 MOM AMC Cebellos – 2 – I signed him to a two year deal until Gautier was ready, but the 27 year old Spaniard played very nicely. He has a Serie A rating of 7.27, 6 goals, 9 assists and 7 MOM. By comparison, in his first year Ozil had 5 MOM, 5 assist and 5 goals. I will keep him as my starter next year – the dude has earned it. AMR Berardi – 2 - I inherited him, homegrown at the club, 29 years old , started very cold and I signed a potential replacement in Winter and he’ll be joining us in a few weeks. 3 star rating, 1 year left, finished hot with 13 goals and 8 assists but he missed 6 PKs, and sank 4. He was 1 goal and 6 assists at the winter break. He scored a lot. He usually is 2nd on my team in goals save for year 2 when Babacar sucked, I sent in Crivelli who sucked and then signed Mendez at the break and he got 11 goals in just a half of Serie A, so Berardi returned to his goal scoring ways. I might move on from him after this year given his age. Finished with a 6.88 rating. Just 1 MOM AML Politano – 2 - I inherited him. He was intended to end this year at the age of 30, but he played so well I extended him by another year. I signed Gautier to replace him and then for AMC this year in Politano’s final one. Politano usually has a ton of assists, but fewer this year with just 10 but he scored loads more with 9 goals, and 4 MOM, and a 7.19 rating a bit down from last year. We’ll finish him up and then move to Gautier here and then move to my new AMR to replace Berardi next year. 3 stars. ST Mendez – 3.5 – I signed this Spanish wonderkid in Winter of Year 2 and he started immediately for 4.5 mill from Middlesbrough. He had a massive 23 goals, 4 assists my best rating at 7.33, I moved him to complete forward, 4 stars and finished developing, capped by Spain, here for four more years, he scored 31 goals in Cups, Champions and was great! 22 years old. Other new additions this year were, for free, Ghoulam, Thiago and Mateo.

Donnarumma won best GK in the Serie Cebellos was 3rd for middle of the year Five of my players are named in the 2024 European Championship Italy – Donnarumma; Arena Holland – Burgzorg Spain – Vicente, Rubio Goodbye May I offer new contracts to Ahmetaj; Farfan; Enea; Burgzorg; Gautier; Racero, they all have 1 year left Champion’s League Final - Neutral Site – Barcelona vs Juventus Juventus wins 2-1 in extra time! They brought it home to Italy and they won the rough double of winning the Champions league and their home competion. They have won in a few times and that’s a nice addition to the stove. Hopefully that will rise us in the rankings next year. We make 50 mill in TV Revenue from the League.

Vicente wants to talk with them…what would you do?
Let’s do a deep dive into Vicente: Year 1 – Started at MC with a Deep Laying Playmaker role alongside Pires, 7.05 rating. 3 goals, 3 assists, 1 MOM Year 2 – I signed Ozil and moved an MC to AMC, kept Pires, loaned Vicente – he started for AC Milan – 7.27 rating; 5 goals; 5 assists, 2 MOM Year 3 – I sold Pires and moved Vicente to MC and gave him a central midfielder role since Arena was a deep lying playmaker. He got a 7.05 rating, 4 goals, 2 assists Year 3 – Started same place, 7.05 rating, 1 goal, 6 assists Is a humble 7.05 at MC worth me not saying yes to 127 mill? But I am making all sorts of money and my team is set this year with no changes from last. I could easily afford a replacement, but Vicente has been my guy all 7 years of this dynasty, and that counts for something… Yes or no? I say no. This has been, really, the Jose Vicente dynasty.

He wants an improved deal. Done! You are my Vicente!
Mateo has dropped to 2 stars and I move him to backup Bosnia has joined the EU We moved up 16 places from 39th ranked to the 23rd. Arena got his first goal for Italy and I sent congrats! I reject a 153 mil offer for Vicente. I get a 35 mill offer for Ceballos and a 10 mill for Lirola. Hmm, Lirola is my worst future starter, but’s he homegrown at the club, but Rubio will be homegrown on 6/29/24 in a few weeks. And we have Arena, Adjapong, Berardi this year, and more. I can move on and then just move in Enea. Here he is compared with Enea: As you can see he’s 2 better at aeriel, speed by 1, attacking by 1 and vision by and Enea is a better defender and physical and they are tied art mental and technical. Pretty close, and Enea is just 19 and 2.5 stars now but not that great potential. I say no because Lirola got his cards under control and his rating back up. Ceballos rejected as well since the 27 year old played so well and he wants a new deal. Alright, doing it now. I make him an offer that increases his salary from 50k to 80k and two more years. Anyone coming free I want to bring in? None. No Donnarummas either than want to come here that are on sale. Vicente signs his new deal! He went from 70k to 85k Thiago has also dropped to 2 stars Our U18s are celebrating another double with a win over the league and the Cup! Season Awards! Mendez was our favorite player with Cebellos 2nd and Politano 3rd. Cebellos was the signing of the year and Mende remained the Young Player of the Year for a 3rd year in a row. I hold my End of Season meeting!

The club made a profit of 153 mill last year!
Our upgrades to training and youth facilities begin Mendez’s 31 goals broke his record last year of 24 Donnarumma’s 35 shut outs was a big increase over Karius’s record of 28 last year Rubio is now homegrown! Burgzorg will be next year Cebellos signs his new deal! We get that sweet 40 mill for TV Rights. We get Juventus in the Super Cup… After pay raises I am 250k under the payroll budget I tried setting up 5 Friendlies with France but only two accepted the other dates are too busy so I set up Inter, Milan and Roma. We set attendance records with 20,918 over last year’s 19422 record setting attendance. Its 21584 big June 30 Good bye Crivelli Baranowski These are expiring in a year: I won’t resign Ghoulam, Thiago or Mateo. Or Politano and Berardi. I’ll make offers to a bunch of hot prospects to remain. Goodbye June!

The Transfer Window rises. Here’s my new signing from Argentina: As you can see, Carballo can play AMR and a bit of MR, so he’s not very versatile. He’s on a 4.6k/week deal as a hot prospect. He is just 2.5 stars and will hopefully grow into a starting role next year after Berardi’s deal ends. He’s good at corners and free kicks. Welcome to the team! I register him and move him to my main squad.

There is a player free named Christian Eriksen who is 32 and studly and really strong. Does he want to come here? Yes but he’s too pricey.
My season expectations are here: Qualify for Champions league Make it out of the Group Stage We don’t care about the Cups Four of my players are called up for the Olympics: France – Gautier Columbia – Farfan Spain – Mendez, Racero Training Camp begins Friendly #1 – Home vs Nancy – We win 5-2, MOM is Mariano Rubio was named in the EURO Dream Team! Friendly #2 – Home vs Brest – We win 2-1, MOM is Berardi Friendly #3 – Home vs Milan – This is a big seller. We win 2-0, MOM is Ceballos Mateo another coaching license Good bye July!

August
4th - Fr vs Roma 11th – Fr vs Inter 18th – Neutral Super Cup vs Juventus 25th – Home vs Torino 29th – Group Stage Draw, Champions League Good training – Thiago, Racero, La Rosa I get a 28 mill offer for Lirola from Barcelona, my normal offers are for 8-10 mill that I regularly reject. Hmm… I accept. With Rubio homegrown here now and Burgzorg next year and more that’s fine. I sell Lirola. That’s too good for a 3 star DR that’s my worst starter. Friendly #4 – Home vs Roma – We sell out this one as well as Milan’s. We win 4-1 and MOM is Mendez Lirola heads out, now I look for a replacement. I now have 65 mill in cash I make an offer to Freiburg’s DC/DR Danny Reiß 20 years old, he’s worth 6 mill I offer 12, they counter 85, we agree to 30 and 50% of next sale Will he want to come? Nope he just signed a deal and wants to stay at Freiburg. What about transfer listed people? Not really I confirm squad numbers and submit my team I have two spots for a new DR We have preseason odds of 7-2 for winning We sold 13178 season tickets! Friendly #5 – Home vs Inter – We…thump them 4-0 – MOM is Arena I move Enea to start at DR. I cannot find anyone who is better than him.
