poli will id the sword and return when done.

Remember you may not have more than three weapons and more than two armors including what you are wearing.

The Pixies have an announcement:

KWhit has killed the most powerful monster in the outer rings, a Living Statue!

EDIT: Sorry, Pixies. Pixies announce major events, Fairies announce room status changes, and Sprites announce rumors.

Tell me if I'm doing this wrong. All I have to do is repeat it, correct?

This spider fang is interesting. Ouch...sharp. Surprisingly well-balanced considering it came from the mouth of a foul beast. And once this filthy ichor is removed, it has a certain sheen to it. It looks very much like a well-made dagger, and would undoubtedly grant its wielder a +1 benefit in combat. I've seen similar weapons sold for 200 gold on the open market.

The axe is clearly crafted by a master. See the etchings along the haft and the butt-end of the head? The symbols are those of an ancient human culture that had an outpost on the coast not far from here. It, too, will provide its wielder with a modest +1 in combat, and has the same value as the spider fang.

The potion is simple to identify. Most potions are colored but mostly opaque. See how this one is translucent -- indeed almost ethereal? Invisibility, it must be. In combat, after consumption of the contents, such a potion would allow the combatant to Ambush in one attack through infravision. I sold a similar concoction for precisely 75 gold about six weeks ago.

PF, I find your spider fang to be very exciting and interesting. Might I use it this afternoon against the vile imp I hear fluttering about in the room next to me? It increases your chances of getting the item back tomorrow -- or of having me pay to purchase it.

Chesapeake, you are the man! Thank you sir, glad to hear I got some pretty cool loot.

Poli, I worded my post poorly. I went back looking for people who moved to their left and the only one I saw was you. I'm assuming I must be coming up to or near someone's starting point. You or someone else. Thus far, I haven't seen anyone but I'll know after the movement phase. So I'm not necessarily close to you, just looking for people like you that moved (or could've moved) left from their start.

So I broke up a fight on my lunch duty just now of two level 9 idiots. I believe I should get some XP for that.

The only loot I got though was a pair of broken glasses and a half-eaten orange.

I am moving right while you are moving left, yeah (well, straight now but that's just so I don't get confused!). I look forward to bumping into somebody that isn't necessarily trying to kill me.

Also I can put a couple things up for sale, my rations, which I'll sell for 25gp as well - and the scroll of passwall, worth 100g, so I'll sell for 50. Only usable by bards, wizards, and artificers. Feel free to bid against each other.

The good news is at this rate, I won't have to worry about dying because I'm just reexploring what everyone has moved through.

So, any of you less than observant chaps missed anything, I will find it and mock you.

Danny, just wait for PurdueBrad to meet his inevitable death and go pick up the axe, saving the 150 gp. It is a win/win - well, unless you are PurdueBrad.

Heck, even the moderator wants him dead
