Yeah, but the simple game is easy to run. I'm just going to have to be sure and keep up with my PM inbox.

This can definitely be tricky at times.

I guess I'd lean toward complex, but is there a spelled-out difference between the two?

I've always thought of it as the large game vs small game list, where the large game will usually have 15-25 people and allow for more complex or involved rule sets and the small game will usually be around 8-10 people and be often (but not always see Sndvls' small game for instance) a more basic type rule set.

Okay. Complex it is, then. There hasn't been one done based on Clue, has there?

Please add me to the small game rotation if you get the chance. I want to get back into this, but after the JTR game, I want to return smaller and get more experienced with it nefore returning to the big game list.

If Peregrine isn't starting his game for a while, can we get another small game going in the next 2-3 days? Its been a while for some of us early deaths to have a game to play in

Ping: Barkeep or whoever.

I noticed a Post #1 edit after my post above, but my name hasn't been added. So I am posting again as a reminder I would like to be added to the simple/small game list. Thanks!

It looks like I am on deck for a small game. I'll put up the sign up thread today some time unless there are objections.

My only concern is a lack of paqrticipation since people don't really die in peregrines game, and suggestions?

Its hard to say without really understanding how much involvement "Cleansed" players in Peregrine's game will have.

That said, usually there are 20-25 people who play in large games and 8-10 people in small games, and Peregrine's game is a bit smaller than most of the recent large games have been. I bet you could find 3-4 players not currently playing his game plus another couple who are that would play both. Having a small game with 7-8 players probably would work I would think.

At least you could give it a try with a signup list, and if you cant get the 7-8 people sign up then just wait.

I'm thinking that I may need to move down another slot. Work has been a bear and I have not put in the time with Tyrith to fine-tune the rule set while making up the characters. I'll also be travelling later in the month, so I guess I'll ask to slide back two spots if there are others who would be ready to run their games.

My game is ready at any time, but Barkeep and Anxiety are both in between me and you, so can't help you much there!

I'll be ready to go basically anytime, but am rather upset with hoops as I had deliberately put someone between us as I didn't want to follow his game again both because he won't play in mine and because we both do such large complex games. GAH! I'd move down too except I'm dying to host again .

Sorry about that. I've been posting the "as of" in the edit place so people know if I've updated since they put in their sign-up. I still hope Blade will come back to us sometime not too long from now and resume these duties, though I'm more than happy to do them until he does.

I think I would like to be added to the complex game list as well, please. It doesn't seem likely my name will come up at the same time for both the big and small games.

Seems like we're entering a lag period. We should get a new short game going pretty quick, I'm ready to start one, but then I'm third on the list.

To me the whole idea of the simple/small games were for weekends like Memorial Day and I'd hope we'd get a new one started soon.

I will be around next weekend, and I'd like to play. I don't think I'll be able to host, though.

I thought they were to fill in when a big game was going long and to allow players to get in a quick game that were out of the big one or who couldn't put in the time for a big one...hmmm guess I was wrong

By my reckoning, its tanglewood's turn with a small game. Has anybody pmed tanglewood to see if he's going to run one?

I'm thinking about reposting Hatfield/McCoy signups for end of next week to hopefully start around the 5th or so. Alternative is to hold off until after Fathers Day when most people will be done with school committments.

Not sure if this needs a popular vote, but as someone who is on the large game list I would like to see you get your game going next. It looked like a fun game and I'm hoping we can get a better showing for it this time around (including myself in that, since I was not able to meet original date listed).

so now that the holiday weekend is over can someone get a game going. I haven't seen Tanglewood around these parts in a while. I say if he doesn't show up soon we jump the line to whoever is next.

I think path is going to try his game now. I would agree that Tangle should be skipped if he isn't around when it would be time to start a new small game.

I would argue that time is now. In the time it takes to get a full game going we could be close to done with a small game.
