Problem is, fink could just be a department worker who's been busy and hasn't checked in. That happens a lot, and then all this finger pointing leads to nothing. But I sort of agree with heinze, it's somewhat better to lynch an inactive villager that you hope is a wolf.

Come on kids, I am not a wolf, I have no real value other than keeping the numbers up in the cubicles for the good guys. Lynch me if you really feel you must, but it gains us nothing. long term it could cost us the win.

purely self preservation here. I have to force a tie. Lets see who moves next. Do they save me? Do they same Fink? Since I tied it, if they save Fink, methinks we find a wolf in the vote.

i htink with 6 for you and 6 fot fink the odds we get no wolfes in either is somewhere between 0 and my chances with lyndsy lohan!

So the odds of getting no wolves is 0 -- i.e. we will definitely get a wolf?

I was pretty much 50/50 on who to vote for. I like the way Heinz thinks and if he is a fellow plain worker then he'd be the first person I'd follow, to be honest. He's a good player from what I've seen(aside from his luck). No big basis, really.

I think clap is saying that having votes on different people generates info, at the very least voting patterns, whereas everyone voting for one person doesn't show much as far as voting patterns go, so even if it was a wolf (which would be great), nothing would be revealed about anyone else.

But the other thing is, yeah, if people feel strongly about who are wolves, they should vote for those people, not others just to make votes close.

I think its actually a tie, but fink hasn't done his self preservation vote yet (which I assume will happen eventually) , so technically Render by 1

Alright I've thrown my vote away when it was tied before. Raiders Army wasn't so happy last time, so I'm going to give Arlie the benefit of the doubt here.

I haven't played WW before with him, so wasn't sure how into it he gets. I've been on a bit of a break from it for a few months. I wouldn't assume he was going to miss the vote when his butt is on the line unless he was the type who kind of zoned out when they got a meaningless role and no one really to warn him. I've seen a few players like that before. I've learned though with WW never assume anything, as anything can happen even in the last few minutes.

Keep in mind that a supposed tie isn't, necessarily. (And consequently, it's not necessarily bad to have a tie.)

What does this mean?

From the rules:

Any ties will be broken with a hidden mechanism.

I hear that. The first few days are really about luck. Then when you get to the last few days, hopefully you've knocked off at least one baddie, and that's when vote histories -sometimes- and i stress the sometimes, lead to other baddies.

I quite enjoyed the copy room, and I will smack down anyone who daresay otherwise.

I didn't want to throw my vote away again. I've done so in just about every WW vote I've had. Arlie presented well reasoned and somewhat convincing arguments.

I will say this - if he was wrong, I'm voting to lynch him next. He obviously didn't learn his lesson the last time, and deserves to get beaten.

Temps have a hidden vote on them, the boss's buddies start with a hidden vote in their favor. In the event of an apparent tie, if it's a boss's buddy (the "good" roles) vs. someone else, it actually won't be a tie and the non-buddy will get tossed.

Meh, you clearly don't know how to romance a lady. It's about the supply closet, not the copy room. Everyone knows that. Or the elevator that "accidentally" stalls.

I think it depends on whether you believe Render and whether you think fink's lack of activity warrants a lynch. There isn't much as far as solid information goes.

Arlie gave some reasoning (I don't remember any of it) why he felt Render was a good choice based on day 1 voting behavior.

Fink is a popular choice due to not having shown up today and a throw away vote yesterday.

If you vote Fink, it ends in a tie (as far as we know), and we are at the mercy of a tiebreaker. If you vote Render, he pretty surely gets fired.

Because we have one day of "stats", and 10,000 groups (I love hyperbole) out to get each other. I've played many, many games, and one thing I've always noticed is that 90% of the time in the first 3 days, the "analysis" done by people is less analysis and more "save-my-own-ass-sysis" (good guys and bad).
