Carpentry.
At least we know that Autumn isn't in employ of the C&O. Unless she put herself in jail. |

Oh actually it seems like the sheriff is by default in the pocket of the railroad so that might be reason enough to be messing with us.

i think this is quite a stretch actually, since the mechanic for becoming a cultist is known and there is no defined mechanic for night kills. I think the attack last night was a game mechanic that has nothing to do with the cultists. |

Wait a second... only 5 units are required for Carpentry. (Otherwise the task would be impossible to complete for the 16 of us who aren't in jail.)

it's just as likely that the sheriff is bored and just wants to try and guess with his ability. But it IS a good strategy in keeping us from working. We'll call it the "Zinto Strategy". Autumn is a guy btw at least I think he is. Unless font, you know something about autumn's "character" that we dont.
However, font, your thought is a good one. Autumn COULD arrest himself I think as a cultist to throw us off his scent. Another good wolf strat. Not a high percentage chance, but worth considering. |

Well if that's true and the game mechanics can kill off Cultists, that's a nice boon for us. |

It seems worth tracking who gets injured in these sort of attacks, but we should remember that some people probably didn't get injured simply because of die rolls, so we're not getting the entire picture. I would guess the cultists don't get a break for being cultists -- they may not even be behind these kind of attacks, they may be summoned by outside cultists. I mean to be a cultist you've gotta be crazy enough so summon fishmen to attack your own town, right? That's part of the qualifications.

Well, in C'thulhu the cultists usually get together to summon big horrible things and then get out of the way and let the big horrible things run loose on towns. And if they don't get out of the way, then they are eaten or whatever but they usually have some sort of magic wards or something to prevent the monster from attacking it. Altho not always. There is often some sort of huge sacrifice thing going on...a sacrifice to summon a bigger thing that we have no hope against. Anyway this is all general typical cthulhu story. No telling what exactly is going to go on here nor what we can do about it. But at this point in OUR game we just have to wait as we have nothing to go on about anything. We have our tasks and we do those. Whoever doesn't do them is a suspect.

hmmmm...
I wonder if it is possible in this game to fake quest actions and in PM send in orders to not do anything. If so we're screwed. |

Screwed for the quest, but we'll likely get an idea of who's a Cultist by the write up (at least what area they worked).

Well, since I'm next highest on the list of FOFCers people say are women, but are not, I expect some sort of deal on my beatdown. Maybe put me last on the list, when you're tired. |

Yeah, without much voting patterns I think that's going to be a key to narrowing down the suspects. Keep in mind too we may not have a lot of lynching, so we won't be losing random villagers that way. |
