In the end, concerns over a potential battle with JAG led to me making different purchases than I would have otherwise.

But I really was untouched in the battle yesterday. Jackal, however, would have had no spells whatsoever and was packing a load of potions plus that nifty banner that Danny mentioned. I'm very glad he wasn't picked, as he would have been dog meat - unless he's been holding out on me with items drops.

Going it alone on this level would probably have slowed my progress as well. And as Danny has correctly pointed out, I'm all about getting into the Top 5 no matter who gets in my way.

JAG opens with a Magic Missie to the face, but Euplatious takes NO damage. The dragon is IMMUNE TO MAGIC! How will JAG kill her? Teh Dragon has two claws and a bite. She connects twice and crunches a pair of Images!

JAG hits for 7, and Euplatious kills the last image and scratches him for 6 damage.

Another Mirror Image is summoned. Euplatiuos kills one image - 7 left. JAG quaffs a healing pot. 2 images more destroyed - 5 left. JAG needs to increase his damage output, so he quaffs a Pot of Invis. The creature can;t attack him. He ambushes her! He hits and deals 14 damage. Rar! one more hit - 4 left

He uses Invisibility in the Wizard Staff and does it again, dealing 12 damage. Another Image gone 3 left

She seems surprisingly weak, maybe her spells are her big guns and I'm lucky enough to have the Globe for protection. Unless she has more surprises in store.
