Well, there was nothing to battle in here. Unless you get a shot at the mystery as well there would be the basilisk room behind us (well, it was behind us) but it doesn't offer the same kind of XP I've heard thrown around for some of the other monsters out there.

I know where I didn't want to go after this room ... now I'm trying to figure out if I want to burn an item on learning about a room with two exits.

Think I'm being pretty honest. But if you want me to spell it out, yes I would not be asking my teammates to split if I was still a level 5 healer with 24HP. I would probably be begging them to stay. Happy?

Yeah, splitting up gives one of us a shot, I agree. If you want to make a run at it, I don't blame you - I wasn't even sure what the banner did when I bought it, although it brings some nice bonuses for people operating in groups.. I know in a group of 3 our chances are basically nil unless everyone else dies.. So really there are pros and cons to it. On one hand there is the shot at glory, and you're the closest to it of the 3 of us.

I'll leave it up to you and feel no ill will either way - but for me, I plan to try and keep company with at least one person. I think my chances of winning are equal both ways, so I have no problem just running around with a murdering buddy and killing stuff, hoping for the best. I will miss your spells if you do take off, however.

The banner just gives an XP, attack, and damage bonus to members fighting in a party.

I do agree with Julio, a couple of people will need to make mistakes in the top 3 for someone like chief/myself and you guys to have a shot.. its possible though.. no telling whats in store
