So, now I'm curious. Didn't Chief list 6 possible wizards and none of them was the divinity professor, or anything that would seem like a seer. Do we think he fiddled with the truth there?

Clearly, I am a suspect for having killed Chief, having announced I have a wand. My defense is two parts: 1) I wouldn't have announced I have a wand if i intended to kill people with it, and Chief had already revealed his role at that point, so doesn't add up. and 2) I don't know that it's possible to burn someone to ashes with the wand. I used the link Render supplied for possible spells and it seems if I wanted to kill someone I would use the killing curse, but I didn't see anything that's a flamethrower.

I also can't really think of a Muggle weapon that would do the same (a flamethrower seems a bit overboard for this game) so I would assume he died either from a wand, some other random magic item, or someone has natural magical attack abilities. It's possible if Voldemort is in the game he can make magical attacks or already has a wand (or THE wand).

Presumably the motive for the attack was to avoid being scanned, so for now I would assume EF and Timmae and Telle are not suspects. Although I'll give EF half-credit, since he was only half scanned and it came up a bit suspect. But I think our most likely suspect is Voldemort, who did not want to be revealed by Chief.

Agree with your thoughts Autumn. Who knows what abilities or powers led to the ashes but someone certainly targeted Chief specifically, likely for the reasons you mention.

According to the posts I reread the following people were in the Lobby overnight when Chief was ashed.

britrock was very involved the firsts few days and then fell off the radar.

CrimsonFox keeps popping in and out but not really saying or doing anything useful. He's been absent more often than present.

bhlloy said he was busy the first couple of days but didn't really say anything beyond that. He popped back in Day 8 but again didn't really say or do anything.
