Just saw video of an intentional balk in extra innings, up 2 runs, to force the runner on 2B to 3B to alleviate any sign stealing and allow the pitcher to throw from a wind-up. Just as Abner Doubleday intended.

Yeah, I agree. He was really coming on his last season with the Cards. But they had Arrenado on the radar and needed a spot for Edman, then DeJong went into the tank which was not expected.

Edman could have played SS and Wong at 2B.

I googled the phrase "what happened to Gleybar Torres?".

It returned 4 different articles since July looking at his struggles.

One of the more interesting phenomena of this season's Pirates is that they are giving innings to veteran FAs-to-be Shelby Miller (who has been alright) and 1B Yoshi Tsutsugo (who has been very good).
