Not really. I have my theories on who has a better chance at being bad. I am more concerned about saving myself, and not killing a seer role. So the easiest thing to do is pick out somebody who is pushing the hardest. |

Hardest or first? All I did was state a logical case for you, and for path and for LSG. I would have switched to LSG if I had been around, and if you hadn't made a dumb mistake by forgetting you had posted before. I still think you look very suspicious, but all told, I probably would have voted for dubb over any UTR targets it f I thought a wolf would be so bold on Day One. If I still live, he probably gets my vote on Day Two (should other information not come to light).

You all gather in the courtyard. The imposing apparatus known as the Guillotine is standing in the background. You know that if you receive majority lynch, it is off with your head. You all shudder at the thought.
Your Commander Captain Grenier, steps forward with a beautiful sandalwood box. M. Grenier say “In this box I have two fine wheelock dueling pistols”. You are all excited for a break in the dull day, a duel will certainly make for some sport. M. Grenier says “today you have not spoken in majority and have left the choice up to a contest of arms. Allowing the warriors to guide their own fate”. At that moment Fouts steps forward and begs pardon to M. Grenier, asking to have a word. Fouts clears his throat and say “Gentleman, for those who do not know me, my name is Fouts and I have just been promoted to the post of Lieutenant and am now second in command to Captain Grenier. Fouts produces a letter of promotion and Grenier reads over it acknowledging its legitimacy. Fouts say “As my first act as your Lieutenant, I will not take place in the duel today. Instead, we will use the Guillotine and we will use it on Chief Rum”. M. Grenier scratches his head and says, “I will allow this action, but one time only”. If you are voted again M. Fouts, you must face the outcome. Two soldiers grab Chief Rum and drag him to the mighty apparatus, locking his head and hands in place under the giant blade. With a word from M. Grenier, the blade drops and Chief Rum’s head rolls across the courtyard. You look on in astonishment as the flash of light leaves Chief Rums eyes. You quickly retrieve the key to Chief’s room and run to check its contents. You find a worn red sash of office in his wardrobe. But alas, you also find a certificate of membership in the order of Chevaliers de la Reine, a secret society. Chief Rum has been lynched, killed by be-heading. Chief Rum was a Cardinals Guard. |

In other words, if you don't make a silly mistake when you come back, you don't feel this heat. And you compund it with another one if I die. You're hitting like a star!

Well selfishly I am relieved I wasn't chosen, but I translated what "Chevaliers de la Reine" meant, and its the Knights of the Queen. No idea what that is, but I guess Fouts would have been better off picking me hindsight.
Well I guess the good from this is we have 1 trusted person now. |

The "duke" power is almost always bestowed on a "villager". So Fouts, even though he missed on his guess, should enter a relatively trusted state. Which means the bodyguard game gets to start early, with deciding whether to guard Fouts or someone who he thinks may have a seer role. I would much rather Fouts take a shot with using his power than dying with it unused as a good guy. Just unfortunate that his switch didn't work out. |

According to the right up, the guard read Fouts' paper and verified he was who he said he was. Lieutenant of the Cardinal Guard. So in my mind, thats fully trusted at least for now. As for him using his ability, yep thats what he had to do there, and he was in the same situation I was. Having to decide who should die without having any facts on anyone. |

Tyrith, tomorrow(my vote if I survive) will have no bearing on your insults and personal attacks today. But I ask you to stop. I would also like you to accept the fact that I am an adult, and if I want to take an aggresive stance I can and will. I did it on day 1 and did not step on anyones feet. The same can be said for the rest of the game. Now if you would like to settle this tomorrow like gentlemen, I ask no more of you then to drop your glove, tomorrow morning if we both survive this night. I will grant you your wish. |

I don't blame him for making the wrong choice, I think it was silly to keep votes on him when he hinted at a role day 1. People gladly got off st.cronin when he hinted, why didn't they with Fouts?

The duke isn't always good. However once again the way I read the writeup, the guard verified Fouts' position and thus he should be fully trusted. It seems I am the only one who reads it that way. I think I'm right on this though |

I think the document said alan is going to be converted on night 2, and therefore on day 3 the lynch is coming

Actually you were more wrong, because your reasons were worse and I am dead. But that's the last comment I'll make. It was a phenomenally awful situation you yourself set up with some bad playmaking, IMO. But I recognize you did what you had to do. It's too bad you chose something weak like revenge as your motivating factor, rather than going after one of your "suspicions" for your one time duke ability. You might have killed someone bad. Instead you killed me. I don't mind how it happened, or that you did it. But I think your reasoning was just plain awful. My opinion.

The first game I ran, I gave the duke role to a bad guy. But I think that's the only time that's happened, plus it was actually a pretty complicated role, and not just the duke.

I already stated why, but if folks want me to repeat it again.. it was a no-win situation for me unless I got really lucky. Fouts claimed he didn't have any important role and hinted at some way to influence the duel. I was wrong, I admit it, I'll take my medicine for it, but unlike others, I -was- here all weekend and encouraged discussion for better choices. Its easy for you to make this backseat driver comments when all you did was jump on my own thoughts on Izulde and used it as your reason for your vote. TO which extent we don't know how that ended up. I was wrong, sue me. |

I don't think you're being fair here Chief. If he had moved it to me, I probably would have been upset as well.. but just like a day 1 vote, he had to choose someone. His vote was on you most of the weekend after you voted him, just no one else followed him to it and he ended up moving his vote to make it more of an impact. |

I'm fine with dying, Fouts. I just didn't think your reasoning was very good. I think if I had been around all day and didn't get to your threats to the end of my reading (right at deadline), I probably would have switched off of you. That's on me. But my logic for choosing you in the first place was fine, something you refuse to acknowledge. If you can't take someone critiquing your poor play, maybe you should try a different game yourself.
