I understand that it's probably what got them here, but if I'm the Belmont coach I'm telling my guys to stop the barrage of pull-up threes while running downcourt with numbers.

USC is done. 1 of 15 down the stretch. Down by 14 with 3 minutes left and Beasley is hitting 3's.

wow.

I've been so enthralled by what Belmont is doing that i'm totally not paying attention to the forum.

This is why I love March Madness.

betting on Duke? You must mean with tournament brackets. No way you'd have had bet on Duke with anything less than a 20 point spread. Those people have already lost.

It's the tourney. How about a miss on the second and a baseball three.

So how much money is Duke paying the clock keeper here? Whoever is in charge of it, should not be allowed to be in that capacity for the rest of the tournament. I can understand one miss, but that's the second time in a row they've let the clock run down a full second before stopping it.

On an unrelated note, am I the only person sort of surprised every time I realize that Dick Enberg is still alive & working?

Kansas State played solid zone defense. They played better through foul trouble and they did a great job of penetrating USC's defense and getting Taj into worse foul trouble. Bill Walker was the X-Factor and he was on tonight. Beasley was his usual incredible self despite two early fouls.

Am I the only one who noticed when Paulus saved the ball in the corner he was clearly on the ground out of bounds before he passed it?

This is what happens when the #3 team in the mid-major conference you root for wins the conference tourney.

*sigh*

Wow. Wisconsin started to do well towards the end of the first half and now all of a sudden CSF is started to make shots and we went on a bad drought. CSF with the lead for the time being.

Ah, well. Badgers will wear them down as the game progresses. But still, this is uncomfortable, probably not Duke uncomfortable yet, but still.

Horrendous officiating in the DC region. Arizona's big man Jordan Hill has been dominating. So, the refs decide to call 3 touch fouls on him (and none on WV) in the first 2 minutes of the 2nd half to send him to the bench.
