And our group seems to be finding all the rooms with the inanimate objects coming to life and attacking us. Staff came to life from the weapon rack and attacked me, one stab from Despair and it was down. Just a regular non-magical staff though. And not enough xp to go up a level either darn it.

In the neighborhood, sure. I know I can get 200 GP from the Djinn for it. So I would look for something in the neighborhood of 250 GP. Would that work for you? Or I could take 200 GP and some item, like a potion or less gold, and a better item. Whatever works.

sorry to hear about your dad, DT, glad he's okay. Yeah I think its likely you will get attacked if you choose a weapon. You can choose the specific weapon type apparantly, so choose a low damage weapon like a dagger. I'm going to choose again since I didn't get enough xp to go up a level.

And it was my idea to go back to the first level, bad call on my part it seems, sorry about that.
