I am well aware that getting rid of cultists is not our only concern, and I fully expect to lose in that I expect the majority will still vote to keep everyone. plus I realize that CUltists will not know each other. however at some point, and I think that point is sooner rather than later that we will have a majority of cultists. At that point I think it will be nearly impossible to put in whatever plan we have. I am making the assumption that the cultists will be working against our plan.

Why do you think that will happen soon? I can't calculate it out nicely but to this point we've gone through two nights where Abe rolled for 17 players a 1/20 chance to convert (assuming no ministers in the game, or else make it 15 or 16). That means most likely we're currently dealing with no more than 1 or 2, barring really bad rolls, which means we're about 15-2 or 16-1, which is nowhere near them having a majority. |

you are assuming the chance of becoming a cultist never increases. I am NOT assuming that in fact I am expecting it to get much worse for the vilalge.

Remember that the sherrif is most likely affiliatd with the railroad, and so his decision to jail me may have to do with that subgame, not the cultist thing.

Well lynch me too, because I agree wholeheartedly with JAG. We don't have a scrap of evidence to vote on right now, and the vote won't add to our evidence. The only reason to lynch in this game is if we find something to give us a strong suspicion.

I'm with the "no lynch" approach for now. Honestly, the only thing I could see being a factor in lynching anyone at this point would be inactivity causing us to fail quests (as they seem to have been requiring all our possible numbers). Nobody's been an issue with that so far.

Sorry for noy being part of the conversations today...was travelling for work (sitting in a hotel atm). I agree that there is no reason to Lynch anyone. Aside from that first night, there have been no postings from Abe regarding loss of sanity points, so everyone is still only a 5% to lose their check each .night.

No Lynch seems to be the cautious approach here, and I think that is necessary in a game as complicated as this.

Checking in. I'm usually leery of lynching in a normal game, so it's a no-brainer to count me in that camp here.

The evening has ended, and you retire. You have exciting plans for tomorrow!
As midnight passes, a person, not of your number, giggles and slips into the room of one of your number and pulls a blade from his coat. He attacks and smashes Chief Rum, shaking him for 4 damage and waking him up. CR alerts the town with his cry and people move toward him. He punches out and misses. The man stabs and misses and CR does as well. CR gets init and connects for a glancing punch. The man has connected with CR and slain him. Others arrive and attack. The man stabs Coffee Warlord for 3 damage and then bullets and punches rifle him and he dies. He appears to have been a local, driven insane by what has been happening recently. Chief Rum has been slain. CW has taken 3 damage. Coffee Warlord and the one who slew the attacker, Zinto, have gained a level and are now level two. You clean up and head back to bed. The rays of dawn crack into your rooms and put proof to a sleepless night as you wondered if more would follow the attacker that slew Chief Rum. As you emerge from your cocoon, you notice fire at the Typer Estate. You quickly rush there and it has been burned to the ground. Night 3 has ended. Day 4 has begun

Quest, Day 4
Today you have two missions. The first is to decipher the code of the Unaussprechlichen Kulten. That won’t take everyone. The other mission is to explore the ruins of the Typer Estate to see what items you can rummage up. If only you had found some sort of codebook in the Estate the first time you were there, then today you could all get items. Decode the Book – 10 For this task, Antiquarians count double. Anybody else may, of course: Search the Type Estate for an Item No person may do both (People in Convalescence may work on decoding, but not searching) Quests are due at 1 pm EST

No, assuming you're talking about Britrock, it just means he will only do half work today. The three antiquarians that aren't in jail should definitely be on decoding the book since we won't potentially gain corruption from reading it, then we need another four people (in addition to CF) to finish that because Brit only counts as 1 due to his insanity, which leaves 6 people to explore the ruins for items.
