Schmidty and ntndeacon were the two candidates in our thread other than dward (who we know wasn't Abe's ally) So I'd really like to look in that direction. We had suspicions on both these guys already so it's not completely out of left field. I think we could really be close to cracking this thing wide open. |

Maybe. But I'm more inclined to think that if he was protecting someone, it was someone else in the main thread who could have been a candidate. That would mean someone out of the DV voters - hoops or J23 would be my guess, as I talked about on D2.

Remember the wolves could know what was going on in the other thread, and we already saw that with Autumn trying to save dward. I don't think Abe would speak up if it was somebody with no heat on them at all. That wouldn't make any sense.

I would just hope that my D2 vote on Dward - when there were other candidates in the mix - is at least suggestive that I'm not a wolf on that team. I'll argue against being on either wolf team if it becomes necessary, but I sure hope that my voting record supports that I'm not a scientist. At least moreso than many of the players in this game. |

hoops and J23 weren't even in the opposing thread. So I don't see how that theory works at all. But I may be getting into Narcizo territory with my conspiracy theories here

You are given three door choices, as usual.
The first is aqua, has the letter Q, and the number sequence: 4 5 6 6 7 4 1 6 8 8 The second is pink, has the letter G, and the number sequence: 2 4 1 3 5 2 8 9 2 2 The third is violet, has the letter O, and the number sequence: 9 3 5 1 2 3 5 3 4 6 |

Abe gets real vocal at 6:40 - 20 minutes before deadline when the count is
thread 1 dward 4 ntn 3 schmidty 2 thread 2 cf 5 zinto 3 So I could see it as protecting zinto, schmidty or ntn. Or I could be way off. But I don't see why a wolf cares that CF gets pushed way ahead in that situation if it's not to protect a teammate. Last post on this topic I promise. Discussion is good right? |

I'm going from the position that Abe was pushing for a runaway on someone all day long - he started suggested it the previous night, suggested it again when he put his CF vote out early afternoon.
The main thread vote was all over the place at this point - we know he wasn't protecting dward, but it's possible he was protecting ntn or maybe Schmidty. But ultimately what he did for sure was pretty cleanly control where the splinter thread went on day 2, protecting any teammates of his that were in that thread. If he was trying to cover fire for a dodgy D1 vote a teammate made, then it makes sense to try to convince everyone to dogpile on someone and stop thinking about it. I wouldn't mind just offing Zinto today and getting it over with. We aren't going to kill both of the construction workers today, so they'll have the chance to make their night kill regardless. I'd rather just take the bird in the hand to stop any screwiness, then look at someone out of the ntn/Schmidty/hoops/J23 group D5. |

It's tough to tell if Abe was trying to protect anyone specific from lynching or hoping that with a run away he's be protecting everyone on his team. In thread 2 a consensus was suggested early on so our lynch candidate would have more votes than the one in the main thread, so I'm not sure how helpful it would be to look for voting trends in the main thread. If we're looking for someone specific he was protecting I think it would be someone who seemed likely to be lynched day one, I'm not sure who that would be other than Zinto. I think mostly it was a case of trying to get a run either a villager or wolf from the other team to keep his team safe rather than a move to protect a specific candidate. |

and secondly. note that Abe's first mention of consensus was the night we were split. I believe that was before any were mentioned in the other room. or at least not many. I think Abe was pretty sure that in our side the votes were going to be on the folks who got votes on day one. ANd Though Mau suggested CF... It was Abe that jumped on quick and said basically heck yea, lets kill him.

My immediate reaction is to vote Zinto but I'm not so sure at the moment. Bhlloy is pinging me this morning and it makes me wonder. Looking at the voting Bhlloy is just as suspicious as Zinto and he seems to be very keen on pushing our attention away from the Zinto-Bhlloy pairing I pointed out and looking somewhere else. If he knows Zinto is a villager then Bhlloy has every reason to want to prolong his life as his own lifespan is probably limited if we find out that Zinto is a villager. In terms of scientists I think Bhlloy is as good a candidate as Zinto. Look at his action and reaction at the end of day two.
Thinking that CrimsonFox is the runaway winner in case of a joint lynch he shifts to Dwardazala, who was toast if it was a two-lynch deal anyway and was going to get heat anyway. So he gets his vote on the wolf. But then, oh noes! Danny and Crimson move at the same time as well. Dwardzala has more votes than Crimson. Without time to think things through Autumn shifts back to Crimson and Bhlloy takes his vote off of Dwardzala. Admittedly Zinto made a bogus vote on Schmidty yesterday while Bhlloy was quick to vote for dwardzala. But Doubting Thomas that I am I actually think that that doesn't really tell us anything. With dwardzala a runaway the best scientist move is to vote for the wolf in a runaway. Vote Bhlloy |

So in terms of construction workers I did notice yesterday that Abe was very vocal in pushing for a runaway on day two. He knows what was going on in our thread so it seems likely that it is some sort of defence but it can't be that he's protecting dwardzala. So it makes me interested in ntndeacon and Schmidty and, ironically enough, Zinto. He specifically calls out Autumn for moving his vote onto Zinto. But I don't think Abe would be that overt if he was protecting Zinto, to be honest. Interesting to me is the possible connections of Packer with Schmidty or Tyrith with Schmidty or ntndeacon that I was thinking about on day two.
Of course there's also the possibility that Abe was being ultra-safe and pushing for a candidate he knew was fully safe in case of unexpected turns (similar to those that went down). As a wolf he would also want to avoid voting records as much as possible so pushing a runaway is going to achieve that. He showed on day one that he's not afraid to put himself out there so I think that could be a plausible explanation probably the most likely. I think I'd like some sort of resolution to the Bhlloy-Zinto situation first. |

Even though bhlloy seemingly got caught up in the whirlwind of quick votes on Day 2, I am beginning to think it was a concerted effort to get the vote off of dward. With dward on the block and keeping him apprised of the situation in their thread, his taking the 7th (and tying) vote off dward which puts the lynch on CF is definitely something to take a look at. Making it a decent two-horse race today is better than another runaway anyway...

I'll have it Sunday at 10 for now, but lets see how many people that doesn't really work for. I don't think a two day break would kill things too much. |

Looking back at the day two split, bhlloy's unvote of dward which cause Crimson to be lynched along with his reaction does not speak for him. I'd be surprised if he is not a wolf at this point.

OKay the Jester says that no-one voted for the right door today. We came through teal and people have voted red so that means amber must be the right door. It also suggests that there are two wrong doors and a right one. Unless I've misread if we get this one wrong today the bomb goes off in one of us.
Day One The first is green, has the letter A and a number sequence: 3 8 1 8 8 2 4 7 8 3 ? The second is blue, has the letter B and a number sequence: 5 2 7 8 7 3 3 8 1 7 ? The third is orange, has the letter C and a number sequence: 8 4 5 6 7 9 8 6 9 4 BAD Day Two The first is yellow, has the letter Z and a number sequence: 1 5 4 2 4 4 1 4 6 1 BAD? The second is brown, has the letter F and a number sequence: 5 7 5 5 2 2 9 7 8 7 BAD? The third is maroon, has the letter T and a number sequence: 6 1 8 6 6 3 8 5 4 9 - GOOD Day Three The first is red, has the letter P, and the number sequence: 7 4 9 6 6 5 6 5 3 4 BAD The second is amber, has the letter V, and the number sequence: 2 6 4 6 7 5 4 3 6 6 GOOD The third is teal, has the letter L, and the number sequence: 1 5 3 5 8 6 4 4 2 2 - BAD Day Four The first is aqua, has the letter Q, and the number sequence: 4 5 6 6 7 4 1 6 8 8 The second is pink, has the letter G, and the number sequence: 2 4 1 3 5 2 8 9 2 2 The third is violet, has the letter O, and the number sequence: 9 3 5 1 2 3 5 3 4 6 Unfortunately I don't have time to think things through now. I'm guessing the door thing will be fairly simple once we know what to look for. I started this morning thinking it might have something to do with the door color and the letter, with the numbers just being window dressing but I've kind of discarded that theory as my variation doesn't hold up under closer scrutiny.
As far as the vote, I'll go ahead and ride along with Zinto following the logic that was mapped out yesterday. |
