I'm pretty sure most of us know that. It just came down to the republicans MAKING it turn into partisan bullshit and at least we came out ahead and made them pay. |

And by the way, I got confirmation from CR that the Seer Communications bill we submitted today (the one I came up with, BTW) was okay by the supreme court.
So there. |

If people need things to talk about - we could begin thinking about our bills so we don't present them late in the day again.
I believe we'll be electing / re-affirming the Speaker again tomorrow. (Does the President get to vote on that?) |

I almost called the GOP on that crap. That was easily constitutional and they were just miffed about getting their nose smacked yesterday for their bill. |

Our second will be presented a little late again, mcc, because of Chubby being away during the day. I think if we have it settled by 4pm which one we want, we can get it out right away this time.

I'll probably lose my election today since I had to make that late vote switch. So maybe you won't have to deal with me tomorrow anyway.

My bad - I mentioned Mrs. S earlier, but the final vote count has Passacaglia as the lone voter still on KWhit. He'll get a lot of crap for that.

hey guys, we got a great result.
I am more then happy to answer any questions about todays play. I basicly told Pass I think KWhit is a wolf because of the way he voted and convinced him to switch his vote thus saving henry. |

And no, we didn't get a great result. We lynched a non-wolf. Not a great result at all.

you have got to be kidding me? You and Chesapeak are the reason we were in that mess to begin with, I got Pass to switch giving us the win. If you had voted with the rest of the party to begin with we wouldn't have been in that mess. Did you not see it coming that they were all going to vote together, I got them to break that alliance. Henry is alive because of me. |

KWhit wins his re-election!
Somehow, the prez race was incredibly tight even in his district. |

Could the Seer Communications Act, together with a GOP slurry attack, had that much effect?

Path got a "healthy boost" - presumably from co-sponsoring the bill unless we also sent a support power his way.

I don't know for sure. I bought the election because I was worried......tried to make it conditional but it's all or nothing. And I could only do it the once. So all in all if I had it to do over again I'd have waited and bought the next election. Just in case any of you have a similar ability.

oops one more thing
If you are looking for a partisan wolf vote I'd say pass (highest on my wolf radar) or jehinz (will benefit the party the most) |

The Most Popular Politicians Among Party Members
1. PackerFanatic 2. mccollins 3. KWhit 4. Chubby 5. chesapeake 6. Lathum 7. henry296 8. EagleFan 9. path12 There is evidence that both PackerFanatic was targeted in the media. Polling is still pretty much where it was at from the Congressional elections. Don't forget: you can pick a new Leader today if you want, or leave the current one in power. And your Liaison is currently out of Congress, so you must select a new one.

Under the game mechanics as I am piecing them together, each representative has one special ability. Path's allowed him to win his reelection somehow. And it would appear that Clap and StC used their powers to knock Lathum and Chubby out of their seats. It is still unclear what effect supports/slurries have. |

Our primary focus as a party should be getting Lathum, Henry and Chubby back into their seats. We are in the minority anyway, so it should be a little easier. We won't be responsible for vetoes or for any partisan lynchings anytime soon.
A good start would be offering a bill, sponsored by our two weakest members (politically) -- Path and EF. If we can shore them up some, we can toss supports to our three unelected members. |

I don't see how we win a Speaker vote. We are in the minority. But we should still offer a candidate and all vote for him. Our constituents would expect that.

As of right now, I think I'm voting for Pass or Heinz. They both control an extra district and I don't get their argument that it would be good for us to lose all 3 of our ousted Dems.
Can anyone help me understand the villager motivation to DESIRE FOUR villagers to be removed from the game by the villagers themselves?? |

Well, our two most centrist Dems are out of office so I'd nominate the next most centrist (who has also expressed interest) in that of PackerFanatic.

We need to choose a liason. I think chesapeake would make a good choice since he's proven to them to be a pretty bi-partisan thinking congressman.
