Walk on kickers are almost better then Punters this year man lol.

I was happy to sign a couple of the 3 stars we went after.

We have 11 guys that have us 2 or higher and only 7 schol.

We have a decent RB and TE that i really made a push for this week.

BTW Virginia is ready to go.

That sucks Craig. I wish you would stick around but i understand the time restraints.

We now have a top 30 draft class after having an absolutely dismal season. None of them are 4 start but a good 15+ are 3 start and hopefully some scheme 2 star guys too.

Welcome to Recruiting Week 5!

This is the last week of recruiting gentlemen. Duke has had an abysmal recruiting year...we will be lucky to pull in a dozen recruits, most of which will be 2* with a few 3* mixed in. Congrats to Bighouse who has torn the rest of the conference a new asshole in his recruiting trips.

We will advance Wednesday evening at midnight eastern.

I got raped by my DT's transferring out...I suspect it's going to hurt my record next year - along with all my WR's graduating. I might have been one-and-done as the Conference Champ - at least until I can get it rebuilt and with a good pipeline.

DT sounds MISERABLE about the upcoming year.

I will tell you all that hookers and lots of drugs at the recruiting trips. I think i figured "if" all the 3 and 4 star guys that had us high i had a chance to slip into the top 30 recruiting class. You ask me that after not making a bowl and i would have told you to F off.

Sun-I have a few guys i could ask in my other dynastys if you want me to bring them over. (1 is Jimrac)

I'm not too concerned with loading up on people. Right now we have a small group of guys who, for the most part, are engaged in the Dynasty and play their games in a timely manner. I think we could definitely make up some good time this year with the people we have now.

Just trying to manage my own expectations so I don't get discouraged.

But as you all saw when you played me, my DT's were absolute beasts in the middle (lost them both to transferring out - wtf!?!?), and my WR's were studs (and the top 3 or so graduated I think). Add in that Da'Rel Scott graduated too and I don't think it's going to be nearly as pretty!

Johnny, I had just mentioned how BHR signed half of the guys I was recruiting...in fact it might even be a higher percentage than that.

We've advanced to the position changes stage. I would like to limit this stage to 1 full day if possible. Typically this stage requires about 5 minutes of actual work. Please post in here if you're done. As soon as I get the go-ahead from all four of you (Johnny, Eddie, BHR, DT) I'll advance us to what I believe is the depth chart/custom schedule stage.

Yeah i think Sun went after the big shot 4 star guys while was home not start gazing at the 3 start guys.

I was head to head with DT and Sun on almost every recruit i was after.

Oddly enough, one of my TE recruits came into camp at 69 but actually improved to 70 when moved to FB. Nice! Heck, one of my SS recruits actually showed up as 58...but was able to move to the D-Line at 66...LOL!!! And, the best yet, that same TE that transfered so well to FB could be a very solid QB at 74! I had an athlete come in as a 68 FB and 71 TE with some 88 speed.

Careful with those little guys at DE and LB as one thing i have learned the hard way is str means so much more and they seem to not gain points as much as if they would have stayed in the same position.

I have no idea what i am going to do on offense as my 2 best players are WRs and the next 5 highest rated guys are lineman. I have almost no RB until i get the transfer kid next year and my qbs really struggled last year.

One RB recruit is 6 foot 2 230 pounds with 91 trucking but only 67 carries.
I may try him in the backfield for us to start this year.

He was going to be 4th or even 5th on the depth chart at safety and he likely won't even see the field on the D-Line, either...but I thought it might be fun to see what he ends looking like in a few years.

Alright gents...we are two days away from the start of the season! Please review your schedule and make sure you meet the two following league guidelines.

1.) No games are scheduled against FCS teams. If they are, request them to be changed in here by telling my the team you want placed in that spot.
2.) At least 25% (three) H2H games are on your schedule. If they aren't (remember groundhog and Craig are no longer here) please make the adjustment by requesting a change in here.

This is also the stage where you load up your recruit boards, redshirt some new kids and set your depth chart. Take note of what other FACC teams are high on the list of some of your interested recruits, especially if BHR is one of them

Hard advance is set for Sunday evening at midnight EST.

Yeah...I made an executive decision and skipped the cut stage altogether. We will be lucky to finish two more seasons, which means this year you would be deciding between shitty player who will never play anyway A, and shitty player who will never play anyway B to cut. If it makes a difference, I skipped it for myself too. Often times, these C/B rated teams won't even have more than 70 players rending the cut stage redundant. Sorry if this upset anyone.

Yeah not happy at all about the cut stages.

I will hop on and i will get the sim ready every day but i would like the choices.

I do not need 9 DEs and it cut 7 offensive lineman for me. Yeah i think a total bad call and in the nicest way please at least give us the option to go through the stages even if you do quick advances.

To show how asinine it is it cut 5 freshman offensive lineman that were all rated 65 or above and ket 7 qbs on my roster 3 are lower then 62 overall and 3 corners to give me 8 total and i only use 5 normally.

Truthfully pretty pissed about it.

We cannot see schedules and i cannot log on the site because my xbox and ps3 screenname conflict so you will have to adjust my schedule if it needs to be done.

In any game no matter what it is i trust the AI logic or computer zip, zero, zilch.

If you do an offline dynasty it will almost ignore positions when it relates to ages. As i shuffle the oline to have 2 years of experience between starter and redshirt the game accounts for me having 3 at one position and warrants it completely unecessary. If you notice most offensive lines will have 2 max at one spot.

On the other hand it will rarely if ever cut Qbs. I am guessing they have a little heavier weight then the other positions in game.

Again my rant is over and ready to start this biatch up. It sucks 2 of my online dynastys are almost at the same point with no games

Welcome to the 2011 Season!

The FACC has officially advanced past the off-season stage, and is now in Week 1 of the 2011 regular season. The good news? We are rolling! The bad news? Week 1 and Week 14 are "open" dates for all five teams in the FACC

. This will help the season progress about two weeks faster, however it will be another couple days before we get any games in. Make sure to call your recruits. Let's see who signs the first big name!

Deadline set for Thursday evening at midnight EST...a short week due to a "nothing but recruiting" slate. Remember, if you get the itch to play, you can always hold a practice session from within the OD and use this years players.

Please review your schedule and make sure you meet the two following league guidelines. 1.) No games are scheduled against FCS teams. If they are, request them to be changed in here by telling my the team you want placed in that spot. 2.) At least 25% (three) H2H games are on your schedule. If they aren't (remember groundhog and Craig are no longer here) please make the adjustment by requesting a change in here. This is also the stage where you load up your recruit boards, redshirt some new kids and set your depth chart. Take note of what other FACC teams are high on the list of some of your interested recruits, especially if BHR is one of them . Good luck gentlemen...we're very close to kickoff! We will be lucky to finish two more seasons, which means this year you would be deciding between shitty player who will never play anyway A, and shitty player who will never play anyway B to cut. If it makes a difference, I skipped it for myself too. Often times, these C/B rated teams won't even have more than 70 players rending the cut stage redundant. bighouserulez H.S. Freshman Team Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Michigan	Yeah not happy at all about the cut stages. I will hop on and i will get the sim ready every day but i would like the choices. I do not need 9 DEs and it cut 7 offensive lineman for me. Yeah i think a total bad call and in the nicest way please at least give us the option to go through the stages even if you do quick advances. To show how asinine it is it cut 5 freshman offensive lineman that were all rated 65 or above and ket 7 qbs on my roster 3 are lower then 62 overall and 3 corners to give me 8 total and i only use 5 normally. Truthfully pretty pissed about it. We cannot see schedules and i cannot log on the site because my xbox and ps3 screenname conflict so you will have to adjust my schedule if it needs to be done. __________________ Are you looking for a different MP league? If you do an offline dynasty it will almost ignore positions when it relates to ages. As i shuffle the oline to have 2 years of experience between starter and redshirt the game accounts for me having 3 at one position and warrants it completely unecessary. If you notice most offensive lines will have 2 max at one spot. On the other hand it will rarely if ever cut Qbs. I am guessing they have a little heavier weight then the other positions in game. The FACC has officially advanced past the off-season stage, and is now in Week 1 of the 2011 regular season. The good news? We are rolling! The bad news? Week 1 and Week 14 are "open" dates for all five teams in the FACC . This will help the season progress about two weeks faster, however it will be another couple days before we get any games in. Make sure to call your recruits. Let's see who signs the first big name! Deadline set for Thursday evening at midnight EST...a short week due to a "nothing but recruiting" slate.
