WW CVI: Evil Star Trek--GAME OVER!! (Results in Post #643)

Dola - with six players left I assume we are at end-game. So I fully expect a fake reveal as well in this spot. But I'm pretty sure I would rather guess at the fake reveal than make a blind stab in this spot.

Also, we've gotten absolutely nothing out of our good roles all game. No blocks, no duke, one player-kill, no soothsaying, no doctor save ... pretty depressing, all in all.

dubb93 is quietly working at this work station when a shadow falls over his control board. You turn to look up into the unflinching face of claphamsa.

"I know you're in league with the Good Captain, dubb93, and I will make sure you can't delay us like the good Mr. Scotty." claphamsa says.

dubb93 gets riled up, protesting his innocence. He starts to get up. With a surprisingly deft move, claphamsa sidesteps the rising dubb93 and applies the Vulcan Neck Pinch.

dubb93's body goes rigid and his face blank as he slips into a catatonic trance.

claphamsa is Mr. Spock!!! and he has disabled dubb93 for a day.

Spock orders the security team to take dubb93 to the medical ward and to stand a guard over him until he comes to.

The excitement to the day starts off early, as Mr. Spock makes a surprising announcement.

"I have found the good Captain Kirk," he says and points his phaser at Darth Vilus. "Captain, I feel I will have to remove you from duty."

The crew believes Mr. Spock and quickly vote to brig him. The redshirts approach Darth Vilus to put him in a cell with the Good Mr. Scotty.

Darth Vilus' face holds a pleaful expression, as he steps forward and passionately extends his hand to Spock and the crew.

"But...wait!" he says. The redshirts pause. They're not bright.

"Spock!...My fellow...crew members! ...Can't you see? This way of life, this...evil universe...it's not...right! It's...NOT...human!" Darth Vilus says.

"Spock!...You desire nothing more...than to stay in touch...with your human...and Vulcan sides!...We must...work together...for a solution," Darth Vilus says.

"That may very well be the case, Jim. But we cannot afford to let the goodness in you affect the rest of us further," Spock calmly replies. With a nod at security, he orders them to take Darth Vilus to the brig.

DARTH VILUS WAS THE GOOD CAPTAIN KIRK!!

The leader of the wolves is out of the game.

Kirk may have been apprehended, but the crew members feel there are still wolves among them. They must continue to search for them, to root them out.

That fear is confirmed in the morning. The outspoken and surprisingly long-lived hoopsguy failed to report to his duty station in the morning and, sure enough, he was found dead in his quarters, a knife through his heart.

hoopsguy was yet another Evil Ensign Smith

dubb93 has come around and is allowed to return to duty, although he is being watched carefully.

THE DEADLINES AND PRIZE REMAINS THE SAME, ONLY NOW IT IS FOR DAY SIX.

I gave my role, I'm evil McCoy, I'm not lying - what does schmidty have to say for himself? He's been flying under the radar all game. He must be the cunning. I'm sure I'm alive for this exact scenario - the cunning was out there - dubb would be cleared of course and I've had suspicion on me from around Day 2 forward. They knew because of my role they couldn't kill clap and leaving me alive leaves a very suspicious target and the wolves win. I know where my vote goes today.

I'm glad you're so sure of yourself.

I've been under the radar this game because of two things: 1) I have no role, and 2) I really haven't had anything to add.

If I get voted off, it's no big deal other than losing a vanilla smith. I don't have anything else to say.

As for my vote, I don't believe you, so I will again vote for you, as I did the other day.

Live and learn. Number one rule of wolfdom; no matter the risks you need to kill the seer. The seer is the one role that can really just blow the game completely up on you and every day he lives he either clears another player or damns another wolf. He did both today with his clear of Schmidty and damning of you by default.

Killing hoops was a clear indication that the last wolf was cunning, otherwise why would you not remove the seer who would either:

a. scan and find the last wolf
b. scan and find the last villager, meaning the last unknown is the wolf

But you were between a rock and a hard place because if you had killed the seer, your cunning attribute wouldn't have mattered and chances are you would've been lynched as the more suspicious of the two between you and Schmidty.

The crew really feels they on a role. They don't want it to end.

So when Mr. Spock determines that Schmidty is just another innocent like them, the crew is nearly ravenous in their pursuit of the one lone uncleared crewmember, lerriuqs.

"You're making a mistake!" lerriuqs claims. "I kicked three or four dogs last month alone, I swear it. I recorded football games off of the NFL Network and then sold them at a profit. I can draw a perfect pentagram. Come on, people, I'm evil!"

No one believed him. Dogs had been genetically transformed into unkickable versions of themselves centuries before.

When the crew came to brig him, lerriuqs crestfallen look told everyone he had already given up.

"Fine," he said. "But this will gain you nothing, it will not get your captain back. You'll still have to trade us to get your crew back. Damn you and your green blood, Spock!"

"We'll deal that when we come to it, Dr. McCoy," Spock said. "Oh, and think on this while you're in there, doctor. You claim to be from the 'good' universe, and yet, it was you and your cohorts that killed crewmembers, while we kept you all alive. So who is really evil, Dr. McCoy? Take him away!"

Two of the last redshirts among the crew escort lerriuqs to the brig.

LERRIUQS WAS THE GOOD DR. MCCOY!! ANOTHER WOLF!!

And with that, all of the good universe crew members have been found and put in the brig, and the evil crew of the ISS Enterprise is no longer in danger.

THE EVIL UNIVERSE WINS!!

Congrats to the village, and a nod to the wolves, who played a hard fought game, but were vanquished by some excellent play/decision-making by a handful of wolves. This one was very close.

Very glad to see the village pull this one out after a tough start.

I feel like vote analysis was a very valuable tool in this one. It helped nail the first wolf and provided a pretty clear path to Lerriuqs, although I don't think that was touched upon recently.

Kudos to Clap on nailing the endgame.

Man, I'm guessing the wolves were pulling their hair out at not being able to locate Spock!

I did. The phaser set to stun could've been used exactly like Spock's vulcan neck pinch (or if I had revealed I had it, it could've stopped a person from posting / voting during the day), but I didn't want to use it until we confirmed who Spock was for fear of mucking that up.

Had you killed hoops instead of me, when clap revealed, he took out dubb and I could've taken out you (I would've targeted you over Schmidty), and with the extra villager from no night kill, it would've been 4-1 and the wolf would've been narrowed down enough to have finished you in the next two days. Good work picking me to kill instead.

That was the killer. If we get him before he gets Darth, we just had to survive today and it was over. I'd like to thank J23 for using his powers good and early - certainly made a few decisions easier - such as using Scotty's powers when we did...
