I'm pretty easy about at least 3 of the 4 I listed that I would vote for, so I'd be up for switching my vote perhaps to one of the others if need be later on. I should be back tonight, just don't know when.

Getting out a vote at least for now..
Vote Goldeneagle

Back later hopefully.

Another thing I am a little curious about is that folks seem hesitant to share what goes on during the night phase and/or what items they had. To me, having "disposable" items gives us a little extra power over the wolves in this game, as someone with a seer or a bodyguard power can share their information without fear of being IDed as the seer or bodyguard.

We need to get some info out in the open, in my opinion.

Here are my observations from the vote totals:

-Path and cronin voted together on the first two nights.
-Golden Eagle has voted late each day. His was the deciding vote that sent DT to his death and preserved Render on Day 1. Each day afterwards, he placed a late, inconsequential vote. On day 2, it was a late pile-on for st.cronin. On day 3, a throwaway vote for Render, after LSG had a significant lead.

Those two are high on my radar. And, actually, I think there is something fishy about the path/ardent thing, still.

Right now, I'm going to throw a vote out and see what comes of it.

Vote Golden Eagle

Yes, i have been voting late this game but most of it has to do with my work schedule. Also, LSG had a two vote lead at the time over Render. I would not call that a runaway by any means.

I wouldn't call a two vote lead a runaway either.

But, at the time you voted (with 9-minutes left until the deadline), LSG was up over Render by four votes.

Day 3:

(6) Lonestargirl - Alan (405), Render (416), Swaggs (420), ntndeacon (442), ardent (481), saldana (484)
(4) Render - Lathum (431), path (471), GE (488)
(1) Saldana - Lonestargirl (397)

Swaggs- The item I passed I didn't have an oppritunity to use and I can only keep for a day. I passed it to Path thinking at the time he is probably the most trusted because in the hands of a wolf this item is powerfull.

I've used an item each day so far. I'm trying to find out if I can use more than one, otherwise I might be passing some on tonight.

I think I am going to go a little different route that to pile onto GE at this point. Several of us have mentioned their disquiet towards a certain member of this group. and he has been at the bottom of my trust list for a while, so ....

I'm kind of surprised that IIRC, I'm the only person who has used a scanner. There had to be more than one out there........sure seems like there is duplicates of most everything.

I couldn't agree more that if you have used the scanner or crystal ball that there is no benefit I can see in keeping those results private.

At this point, I am wondering why Render is getting a free pass. He is wiggled out of two lynchings. The whole path/Render/ardent angle is really strange. I will have more to say after work, but at this point, I am leaning toward Render.

Well right back at you NTN. I am not sure why I would go down on your list but your vote stinks to me.

I think it is important to narrow ourselves dow to 2 candidates.

Your vote bought a 4th person into the fold, seems like a throw away to me.

well since the other two people with votes have only one vote and it is still pretty early, I dont see my vote as quite the throwaway you do. The reason you went down on my list of good guys is that your description of what you passed path matched up to mine. (hopes he wont need it though. )

Actually, going back through the descriptions I got a couple of items last night that could have been described that way.

I had no mention of any attack last night, just items that were sent.

An attack would not have been successful though, but I think I'd at least know about it.

I know if I was a wolf I would kill the person I passed the pardon to in an attempt to get it back

Again, I asked you how Render fits into my interaction with Ardent on night 1. You haven't answered as of yet. Also, the fact is that the only wolf we've caught so far has been due to my using the scanner on Ardent.

There is at least one wolf in the group of you, Lathum, Swaggs and ntn. Ntn and Lathum did not move themselves into a level of trust, but the fact that they both sent me pardons last night is somewhat meaningful and is enough for me not to vote either today. Tomorrow may be another story.

So the vote comes down to you or Swaggs. You seem the better bet to me right now.

Well I have to leave in a few minutes and will probably not be home until the deadline.

I am keeping my vote on Render for now. I think it is important to narrow things down to 2 candidates and I feel strongest about him.

I was hoping someone scanned him last night but so far no dice.

Gotta go to work.

So, I haven't even started reading, but I had to share how my day went today.

I went to Alton as planned, rather boring day through lunch. I'm getting a little dirty, a little wet, a little hot. I found out I had to go by the office and sign off on some ladder training. It might even get me home early. Sweet.

10 minutes after lunch, I'm called out to Missouri Baptist for a trouble call. A thermostat in an operating room went out. No display. Nada, nothing, noodle.

I've been on this job for about 3 months now, but I haven't ventured out on my own yet. There's just a ton to know and cover and I've barely touched the surface so far. Thermostats, though, are relatively easy...and this one is easier than most since it's not connected to a network of any kind. Could only be 3 things, the stat, the controller, or the cable between.

"Don't worry, it'll be easy. Just remove the old stat, remove the plate, disconnect the cable, put the new stat in, replace the cable. Piece of cake. They'll probably just be in a hurry to use the room. You'll be fine."

So, I go from one job to that job with a quickness. I get there and I have to put on the doc smocks. No big deal, I think. I walk the customer through the possible scenarios (including the very unlikely ones) and I have my tool bag and computer bag with me. Piece of cake.

"One problem, though. They're in the middle of open heart surgery. You can only take what you absolutely need."

???

Oh boy.

So, I go in and get to work (after having to strip down and put on the smocks)...then I see the beating heart on the screen. Then I see the nurse cleaning something...could have been a tool, could have been tissue (human or otherwise), but it was covered in goo and blood. Perfecto.

Piece of cake. Little arcy, little sparky, when a nut went into the plugged in controller, but it's still good to go. Little screws back in the wall, and I'm out.

Whew.

i was thinking about this while waiting for my first plane...i am sure that your are right..there should be more than one scanner out there, but nothing in the rules prevents the wolves from having one...if one of their kills had it, then they have it, and we will never hear from it again.

I thought someone else had voted for lathum. Guess I'll peel that vote back. Path and alan (makes me throw up in my mouth a little) are my most trusted, render right behind them. Hmm.

I voted for Lathum originally. He sent me a pardon last night, which doesn't clear him but is enough for me to go in another direction today.

He's been out for me from the get go and no matter what evidence comes up he plays it off as some wolf-ish stunt to gain favor. Obviously I've gained SO much favor as I've been #2 in the voting every night so far. I think he's just using me to avert suspicion from himself.

updated to take render and my vote into consideration

i have to board soon, but should be landing in time for the deadline in case anything earth shattering comes up...i felt pretty sure about render yesterday, partly because i trust Ardent, so i switched off when he did...today, i will likely be staying put.

render -1- lathum (583), saldana (649)
GE -3- swaggs (586), alant (601), path (621)
swaggs -1- ntndeacon (607)
lathum -1- ardent (641), render (648)
