I would ask the voters to go back and look at mau's post about me above, and decide why I would pull my vote off Danny and go to CR after Saldana's reveal

your vote doesn't bother me that much bhlloy. seems like a lot of hot air, and makes me lean towards voting GE.

Guess I need to get that vote down, given the time, right? Don't think bhlloy's vote is at all fishy, and since we have no idea what a tie would entail and boo's not around to vote (anyone find that odd?)

I do DT - as I mentioned above I've held off voting him because of his faux-pas of voting Britrock when he was the NK, but really we have no idea what he is at this point.
I can come up with a scenario where he's an inexperienced wolf with no idea what to do after Danny went down and has just decided to do nothing and hope we ignore him |

You get rather serious for it is another serious night
and you are all cold and this new room is nice for its retroey goodness it still is all cold as was your dinner. For Hogsworth, that butlery guy, brought you some soup and some quiche and some hot roast beef and and hot apple pie. But it all just went cold. Even the hot toddies he made were cold toddies (and who wants that!), So you get back to voting (which you know you must do) Is it this one or that one and who knows who's who "It really is warm! So quite warm! Could someone please OPEN the window, dahhhhlink!" says the lady with the heavy drapey clothes. They cover her body they swallow her whole. The hang this way and that. She wears slips and then gowns and a long overrobe that goes down to the ground. "The window is open! we're voting now please!" "Please that's not good enough! I can't feel the breeze! And I've got this great bedcoat now that I must really show" And she puts on more drapey clothes for you all And she walks around stylish and leggy and tall So you open the bay doors and all that cold air comes blasting right in, and freezed your hair "Please pretty please! I'm just dying in here! I must have it colder!" she barks in your ear. And so you do something. A lot of you vow To give this one lady what she wants now. You fill up the tub with cold water you see And you push it right out to the cold balcony And you pick up this lady and all of her clothes And you submerge in the tub right past her nose "I-i-i-it's not q-q-q-quite en-n-n-nough" She grouses and snides So you ask your friend Hogsworth to bring you some ice And you pour it right in and pelt her with it too At the Lady starts freezing and turning solidly blue She shivers and shakes then says "Well d-d-d-done..." then stops cold You've frozen the lady to a solid ice mold Lady Gertrude Hopewell got what she wanted And now she can show off her clothes that she flaunted And you heft up Miss Hopewell, that Goldeneagle villager girl To be cherished as "Most Beautiful Gargoyle in the World!" You suddenly see this weird thing, this guy, or this creature. It's just standing there.
No one knows where it came or who it was with, but it just came right in standing with its scarf in the breeze. You want to say something but are too nervous even to sneeze Last edited by CrimsonFox : 01-12-2013 at 07:42 AM. |

Oh THERE's the birdman thing, the guest. He hadn't left. Although was he even invited? He walks in circles and stares at you for a second. He really is kind of cute yet kind of freaky looking.
Hey! He's got your watch. And there he goes throwing it into the pond. Sigh. |

"What is he? Where does he keep coming from?" you say
"If I may, sir," says Hogsworth, "He wasn't invited, he's never excited, This...erm...Guest...arrived seventeen years to this day. Yet he has shown no intention of going away." "Oh, how strange" "But if I may, sir," Hogsworth says, "I've not ever been bitten by the tinest mouse Since the Guest has been with me, here in this house." Damn, I really thought we had another wolf with GE. Also: LOL. I have no idea what the deal is with the birdman thing, but this sequence is my favorite part of CF's write ups thus far. Damn birdman, throwing my watch in the pond.

You've grown pretty tired of the birdlikeman's stunts And you get back to thieving and arguing and grunts And your petty old nonsense and your tired sad life And you no longer think of the birdguest this night Later on someone says "From where'd that statue come? The plain alabaster one birdlike to some" You turn and you look, and the strange guest is there But it doesn't move, not a single hair It was black and was white, but its darkness has drained Now it stands solid pale in the shoes that it trained And two tiny holes in its neck and its face Is solid white terror and cold in this place Some nasty old being, it killed the poor little creature And it dressed it up nasty just like its own features It now wears a cape that juts high in the back And it now has some fake fangs but would never attack And his shoes are scuffed up and torn is the scarf beacon And their bodyguard label that reads "ntndeacon" How sad that this happened and no one speaks a word For you all now miss it dearly, the strange guestmanbird Last edited by CrimsonFox : 01-12-2013 at 08:44 AM. |

And you're all so upset it fills you with rage
To have this sweet creature be killed at this stage And you must get away from it you can't bear to look You must search for who did this in every cranny and nook So you chant and you yell and you swing all your fists And you rush back inside but too bad that you missed seeing where you've all trodden your feet as you ran For you've trampled the Birdguest flat as a pan. |

Hello everyone, so i got to inspect the time of reveals and when JAG left..
Saldana inspected at 3:15 Central, 1:15 game thread time. Between 1:30 and 3:00 game time GE and NTN voted and then at 3:15 GAME TIME JAG went up. That was plenty of time for wolves to pass the message on thus we probably should not have gone this route but it's all hindsight. There was not anything else worth remembering down there. Very boring thread. |

Ok, maybe not my favorite sequence with that result.
mau, I'm not understanding what you're saying. I mentioned yesterday that everyone on the top floor had voted for Chief before I went up there and you posted the logs that showed that those votes happened after saldana's reveal because sal, Chief, and I had voted for Danny before their votes. |

I guess ntn couldn't protect himself, that sucks. Would have been nice to get a day with no NK to put ourselves ahead of the curve.
If we have 2 wolves left we still have a couple days at least. I think 4 is the most likely number for a game this size. So if we go by prevailing logic it's either Autumn or me for Monday? |

So we are down to 7. I honestly missed ntns death through all the stories about some penguin bird stalking us or some shit. I don't think I got all that craziness in the downstairs thread when I was there.. anyhoo..
This sucks. I don't think it was specified that the bg could protect themsel ves so we don't really know. With the possibility that they could protect consecutive nights to someone else leads me to believe he couldn't protect himself. Did I miss ssomething where he missed the opportunity to protect saldana? |

Danny was the brutal, so ntn never had a chance to protect him.
I just thought of something potentially important that hasn't been mentioned to this point, but I don't want to reveal it just yet. |

So, if we assume the killing of britrock was not blind chance, it's down to JAG, me and Bhlloy as including at least one wolf. We have to entertain the possiblity that they used some ability or something to read another thread or some such gobbedly-gook. But since I voted bhlloy yesterday, I still think we've got the wolf right there. Reading back through this thread when I got here, I can definitely read his posts as wolfish. I thought NTN might be a better bet, basically because he was playing quiet and following along, which I think would be the likely play of a wolf in this game. If Bhlloy is the wolf he's trying to wolf from out front, and doing a pretty good job of it. If JAG is the wolf, wow, hat's off.

The other thing I would like to inspect was where all of the night kills occurred. It seems very possible the wolves can only kill in a room that they're in, and so this might narrow things down for us. In Evil Dead I kept careful track of these things, but I haven't been able to do so here. Does anyone have a good sense of where people were every day? Can we figure out who was in the room with each night kill?

That's a good point, Mauchow, and I'm not sure. Worth considering at least. Looking back through the thread it seems most every kill happened here. I'm not sure about Dubb. The list of people in the room is simply taken from the room description. Id idn't have time to corroborate that someone hadn't moved there after the kill or left before it, for instance.
Night 1 - Dubb Night 2 - Britrock, middle floor Mauchow, Jackal, Danny, Daddy Targo, Passacaglia, Booradley, Bhlloy Night 3 - Chief Rum, middle floor Mauchow, Jackal, Daddy Targo, Passacaglia, Booradley, Bhlloy Night 4 - Passacaglia, middle floor Mauchow, Jackallathum, Daddy Torgo, Booradley, Bhlloy Night 5 - ntndeacon, middle floor, Jackallathum, Daddy Torgo, Booradley, Bhlloy, Autumn, Jag If we thought the room mattered it might make sense to divide the group up into two rooms to force the wolves to give us more information. HOwever, if they can kill indiscriminately it might not matter. I am nearly certain that CF probably requires that they're picking a wolf to make the kills, as I assume that whoever does the kill gets to keep the treasure. Danny and Zinto had a fair amount of money when they died. It's possible they just split the rewards, I suppose. |

Thanks for the amount of effort that you put into this game CF. It made it really funny to play, despite not having much free time this week to put into it.

Do we have a deadline tonight?
I'm going on a business trip on Mon&Tues, so odds are quite good that I might not be on very much at all, and may actually miss deadlines if the night socializing runs late (although I doubt that may be the case). In case we do have a deadline tonight - since I'm about to head out for 45 mins to an hour...I haven't seen much going on today, so I doubt we do, but I think the case made by Autumn make sense to me at the moment.
