That actually seems like a decent result. Wolves went after a strong analytical villager and he ended up being one of the corrupted ones, which does indicate that they don't know who's corrupted. Which also means we don't really know what being corrupted means in the scheme of things.

Now we don't have JAG's useful flow charts either. Narcizo should be up soon!

"This is Good Morning Gotham. Today we're talking with self help guru Mitch Langley. Mitch, we'll be taking calls. This is Good Morning Gotham, what would you like to ask Mitch?"
"I have a question for not just you, Mitch, but all of Gotham. How do you make a hard, hard decision? You know, like when you have to choose between two things and you just can't decide? I guess it's not so much a question for me, since I already know the answer. What I want to know is what you would do? "Let's put it out to all of Gotham City. Let's just say I was a crazy man, a killer, a murderer. And let's say I was going to murder someone today. Do you think it would be better if I murdered Mauboy1? Or Chubby? Who would you kill if you were me? "No, no, ha, let's make it easier. You tell me who to kill. Mauboy1? Chubby? Hmmm? I can't hear you. Oh, right, I can't hear you. You'll have to text your vote to me, that's how you like to do it, right, here in America? "These are your terms, Gotham City. Tell me who I should kill today. The Joker has made a public threat! If you wish to play Joker's game, today you must vote for the Joker's victim. Whoever receives the most votes will be killed at the 10 pm deadline. If nobody votes, or if the majority vote is No Kill, The Joker will kill a random player. To vote please post one of the following in a separate line, in bold, during the day. Votes will be tallied along with the lynch votes, all votes due at 10 pm EST Thursday.

I will say though, and Chubby was right in this regard, now we know how Danny can be killed. We don't know what him being revealed did for him, unless it was just a ploy to avoid being NKed since he'd assume the wolves might come after him.
So as soon as it seems prudent (if ever) for Batman to reveal, I assume Danny will be a lynch soon after, unless we're doing really bad in the numbers and it's not worth it. Then again we don't know where Danny fits into the numbers game, but I imagine it's in our best interest to get him lynched/imprisoned in a mental asylum/whatever eventually. |

All right, I'm out for the night. To be clear, there is still a regular lynch vote. On top of that you may choose to vote in the Joker's game. Both votes have a 10 pm deadline tomorrow.

Is it just me, or is the idea or two lynches a good thing? If they are the only thing we have, then perhaps getting two in one day is a good thing. I wonder how they were chosen. Random? Random citizen? Nah, I doubt the Joker would care about cit vs corrupt vs criminal, I bet its just pure chaos - totally random. That means we have a chance at two lynches.
Thanks Joker/Danny!

I'm on holiday so no vote tallies, someone else do it. Danny - he has time on his hands. I'm outski soon. And I think losing JAG is a big deal as he comes up with pretty good analysis. This is so cool Autumn, you rock. I tempted to vote Chubby in the Joker's little game as a "told you so" but I think he's villager. Anyway one thing I learned in my last games as wolves is that wolves don't like extra kills, particularly if they can be tied into voting records. I'll probably vote mau in Joker's game, presuming he follows through. Need to re-read the thread later though. |

I'm actually leaning Chubby as a wolf. I was considering voting for him today. Getting a free whack at him via the Joker's game and a regular lynch...that's happy on a cracker.

Well I screwed up on not unvoting NTN but I was in a rush and since Danny wanted it to go his way I guess that was not a bad thing. I won't say it is terrible how things turned out but losing a very good analyze in Jag and unleashing the joker is not great

I am wondering how the choice of Mau or Chubby got set up if Danny specifically chose them, it was random, or we have a villager going up against a wolf.

My read on Chubby was that all the stuff he's been coming out with is so wolfish that he can't be a wolf but with this whole "everyone reveal as batman" scheme he is going around the villager world and becoming so wolfish that he might actually be a wolf after all.
No one else should "reveal" as batman. All you're doing is narrowing the field for the wolves to find the real batman, who I'm willing to bet/really hope won't be revealing today. My hope is that batman can't be night killed until he has revealed (then the mob can take out Bruce Wayne) but, you know, I'm not willing to bet the house on it. Does anyone actually think that the mass reveal scheme would work? Given the way that Danny's role was revealed by him getting a lynch. As soon as the real batman says who he is Autumn will announce it and the mob will get to work with the night kills. |

But, um, aren't you now telling me how to play my game? What's the difference? By voting typically UTR players on day one and two when there's very little else to go on I'm trying to do what I can to prevent days 5-8 of the last game happening. Sorry if you think that that was fun - I thought it sucked. A lot. If UTR people think I'm heading a crusade against them and feel targeted by me then by all means vote for me and anyone else willing to put their thoughts out there. Then enjoy your game from day four onwards where everyone can vote based on voting patterns and absolutely nothing else because no-one left has said anything. Not even going to go into the fact that, on balance, I think it's only fair that UTR players are more likely to get lynched early on because when it's night kill time you can bet you bottom dollar it isn't going to be a UTR player getting whacked. Too much. [/rant] |

Given that I seem to have more free time than I expected at the moment I might be able to bash out a vote flow thingy. The sheer number of people on the block makes it likely there was mob there somewhere and there was a bit of movement in there as well.
And Danny. "Riddle me this"? For shame! |

Wow! There's really small text right there.
Dunno how much more time I have (none right now anyway) TEXT VOTE Mauboy Vote Bhlloy Mostly for information. If Mauboy is a baddy we have what looks like there might be a save attempt from Danny/Zinto voters - and I'm a suspect as well. Zinto probably would provide more information than Bhlloy but I think there's more chance of Bhlloy being a wolf than Zinto. I've seen a wolf use the "forgot to unvote" ruse before (I think) but it makes no sense in this context. I'll likely move the Bhlloy vote later on if needed - not sure about the mau vote. Despite what I said I still get the impression that Chubby is a villager who just has a very different read on things than I do. I hope I don't have to point out that a random lynching with no possibility for the eventual victim to reveal probably isn't ideal from the village's point of view. |

i doubt mauboy is mob as I think the Joker needs the mob to "thin the herd" for him to win. I know I'm not mob and I doubt it's random since I had no votes on me.
TEXT NO KILL not sure who i will vote for lynch yet, will try and catch up during lunch break from work and won't be home til 4pm EST from work for good. As I stated yesterday, I'm not afraid of a lynch/nk/(well day kill either) as I don't have a role I know of and would rather assume that risk myself than have Gotham lose somebody important early on. Curious, will we be told when the Joker loses his lynch immunity? I don't see why we would need to be told who made it so... |

Just checking in briefly-I think the all reveal as batman idea is a mistake-unlike with our friend the Joker here, its unlikely Bats will get much if any benefit from his identity being revealed, and very likely give the mob the advantage over him.
As for the Joker's game and the regular lynch vote, my thinking right now is to vote for anyone voting no kill-are you as a citizen of Gotham really going to take the chance that a random roll takes out Batman? And hey Mob, he's probably protected from it, but the mod said nothing about the Joker being immune from the nightkill. Just sayin' |

text no kill
Doesn't help me to vote Chubby as he would probably just return the favor. Him and I are the two that said the three words (the batman thing) and I'm guessing Danny had a chance to capitalize on this by maybe killing batman with texts. Anyway, I don't see any reason to possibly have a 50/50 chance of killing batman if one of us two are batman. And I see Mckerney added himself to the list that is batman. |

Chubby do you really think it's smart to have a random person lynched? That allows for 0 opportunity for a reveal of an important role. There's no guarantee Batman can't be lynched, presumably he would reveal if he was on the block, but I don't much like the idea of a random lynch.
I've been leaning towards texting mau as my back and forth yesterday with you had me feeling you were a villager, but between the hard stance on voting Danny and the idea of a random kill, I'm starting to waver. |

I'll also throw my hat into the "please stop revealing as batman" ring. I think it was a good idea for -one- person to do it, just in case that triggered the effect, even though it was doubtful. It might even have needed to be Dent if we're being true to the film. But let's not help the wolves out anymore

And I get to ask mau the same question - random lynch? It's making the two of you seem less like normal citizens. I know you've been forced into a weird situation via the Joker, but let's still think clearly here.

Obviously the two of you can say that neither is a wolf, and it might be true, and there'd be a better percentage shot of hitting a mobster if we went random, but I'm still not sure it's a very good idea. There's a lot of players left.

Well, given that, nobody is going to vote no kill except me and chubby as everyone else would be risking their own necks, wolves and citizens alike. Chubby and I's votes are meaningless then. Everyone else can hash out what they want to do.

Yeah, I'm not completely convinced that a random kill would actually happen. It's definitely possible that it could happen, but it seems pretty likely that Batman would have the power to intervene.
Would Batman intervene here? Really just depends on how Autumn wrote the role. I could easily see it there being a major consequence for Batman personally if a random person gets killed. I could also see there being no consequence. Honestly, on the whole, I'm fairly ambivalent between the three choices - Chubby has been acting pretty crazy, and mau was the second place finisher yesterday. Is there any concern that by participating in his scheme we open ourselves up to the possibility of some bad consequence/corruption? It would go against the vein of the moral lesson of the movie to have us all sully ourselves by being a part of The Joker's games, but that's also really up to how Autumn wrote the rules. |
