I didn't realize it was top 3 from each either...I think that should be a topic for discussion next year. I prefer top 6 altogether.

I like the idea of a little reform to the playoff format as well, though not necessarily that solution. If we just make it top 6, it would fit Fleaflicker's system better certainly, but would it make sense then to just get rid of the division format altogether?

Anyway, something to talk about after the season.

according to flea flicker MM is in as the 4th team in her division. We need some clarity on this.

ok,. just went back and looked. In 2009 we voted to do top 3 in each division. Fleaflicker has it wrong.

Pretty harsh to miss the playoffs with an 8-5 record. I'll fix the seedings later tonight, just want to understand what happens if we reseed after each round since the other way could cause problems.

Also impressive that SI snatched a first round bye after having been third in the division for a while.

I have it backwards, it seems like we should be good if we keep it as do not reseed after each round.

Very happy about not having to play this coming week

Also, was secretly cheering very hard for saldana because the Dowboys always seem to beat me and they're damn explosive (and riding a 5 game winning streak).

Hopefully the end will be a championship.

Initial playoff and consolation seedings have been fixed to get us the correct first round match-ups. I am pretty sure if it gets messed up beyond this round there is no changing it though.

Just a reminder for those who didn't make the playoffs since we have some new teams this year, but if you win out in the consolation bracket, you get the #1 overall pick for the upcoming year and even a couple wins will at least improve your draft positioning.

I bet you are. Sitting out means I'm top 2, but it figures I'm high scorer right now for the week.

So I was just looking over the rosters and I find is fascinating that JAG has RGIII, Doug Martin, and Trent Richardson, plus Stafford. Talk about decisions.

Going to be interesting, but I enjoy having decisions like that to make. I certainly lucked out with rookies this year.

And, as expected, it has to be JAG. Will this be a repeat of 2010 where he rides the #6 seed to the title or 2011 where the Hippos finally down their Dowboy nemesis in the finals?

Actually FOFC All-Stars won in 2010

Front Office Football Central - View Single Post - The FOFC Keeper League 2012

Pretty sure this is the first time we've ever had a rematch of the finals from the year before. I'm not really excited to play your team though, as you seem to be peaking now whereas I've got a 9-fingered Dez and sidelined RG3. Whoever wins will be the first to three titles and if you win, it will be 3 in 4 years for you and 5 years in a row for your division.

That's right- that was the year the playoff bracket from the semifinals on was all messed up (not that it concerned the Hippos). I was going off of what was on the website.

Oh and stop with the reverse jynx. "Oh, woe is me and my WR corps of the #1, #3, and #7 WR in the league this year. It's so awful having to use my other Top 10 QB who threw for 5000 yards last year and is averaging nearly 30 ppg over the last 5 games coming into this week".

I see a whole league full of world's smallest violins coming out for you

I had 5 teams in playoffs this week and 4 of them had their worst week of the season.

Good luck to the winners! See you next year!

Don't mock the reverse jinx, it's worked well this year.

In all seriousness, I go back to what spleen said earlier this year about FF being rather luck-based. If I had played spleen last week, I would've been gone. I play him this week and Charles, Cruz, and Wayne combine for 4 points. If I had played any other playoff team this week, I would've lost.

But either way, Im playing with house money here, happy to have a crazy comeback from 2-6 to playing for a title.

I am very disappointed in how things turned out. My team has put up 3 of its lowest scoring weeks the last 3 weeks. Wrong time of the year for that.

I love this league though. I like the competition. I think there are a lot of good fantasy players in this league.

Sure, there's a ton of luck. That's just the nature of the beast. If I hadn't snuck in with that bye on the last week of the season, I would have been gone Wild Card week.

Same. My 4 RBs not already ruled out for next week's game (I'm looking at you, McCoy) were all WW pickups from week 7 on so I've been cobbling together that crap all season.

After the conclusion of the season next week, I'll put out the final draft order for next season and throw out some ideas for tweaking the league rules while I'm thinking about them so I don't forget over the next 7-8 months.

Thanks SI. I think it's safe to say I'll never have a WR corps as amazing as the Megatron / Green / Dez team I had this year, where nearly every week they out-scored the rest of my team combined.

Julio - having finally started watching Game of Thrones (through season 2 so far) and putting your sig in context, it makes me laugh hysterically.
