All right, I am here. Anyone want to give me a recap of the day's events (not the night, I know what happened there).

The suns begins to set and the council are seated. Many of you are looking warily towards the chair reserved for the Pontifex Maximus. It is empty.
As st. cronin sits, he looks around the room and realizes that everyone else is here. "Where is our fellow council member?" He looks around but no one answers. Exasperated, he tells the local captain of the guard to take some men and find hoopsguy and enourage him to attend. Ten mintues later, hoopsguy is led into the chamber at the front of four speartips. He sits down, trying to retain his dignity. st. cronin begins counting the votes, but that seems a mere formality. Through it all, hoopsgy tries to remain calm, but you can see worry and doubt pierce his countenance. As the final vote is tabulated, hoopsguy arises and exclaims, "No! I do not accept this decision. You have no authority over me. *I* am the leader of the guild in more ways than any one you will ever be. *I* am the leader of all believers in this world." As he finishes his statements, he begins to cast a spell. Before his spell even leaves his throat, Swaggs counters hoopsguy's intonation and it dissipates. Before hoopsguy can say a word, Swaggs says three words and hoopsguy is tossed to the altar. "I've defeated you once before, this time I know your tricks, and it is all too easy," Swaggs says. Sheer desperation can be seen in hoopsguy and with a power borne of the damned, hoopsguy counters Swaggs push and arises from the altar, hovering above you all. Swaggs merely looks at hoopsguy, and exclaims, "Very well, you have chosen this path." He clamps his open right hand upon his left fist and instantly hoopsguy is bound by mystical bonds of force exactly as he would have had he been upon the altar. At the same instant, ten wounds appear in the ceremonial locations around hoopsguy's body and his life begins to pour out of him. st. cronin looks down at him and says, "It's a shame no one will be able to say rites for you." Day Three has ended. Night Three has begun. It will end at 3:30 am EST Thursday morning.

Well I honestly believe that Hoops thought that whatever his ace in the hole was based on being the big poobah was going to save him. Only thing of value I learned to day and even that is of only marginal value.

bits of a circle are starting to fill in for me, and no you arent in it, and neither are you.
i wish hoops had still been in the thread, i doubt if he would have answered it, or if Dimir ghosts can talk too, but i would like to know if the whole gruul thing was a line of bs or there really are 3 factions in the game. |

This board malfunction thing is really annoying. Kinda makes it hard to participate. Not that a vote was in doubt.
How many roles did hoops have? He did indeed meet with me last night, just as he did with Alan T the first night, once again with the "intention" of determining how faithful and true we are as believers.

Now it all makes sense why hoops was soo adamant about me being killed over saldana. He went out of his way to say that saldana shouldnt die.
You should all also note that cronin pushed quite heavily to lynch me over saldana, as well as heavily for fouts over hoops. My two suspects to go after would be saldana and cronin, but again, im dead.

The night is fairly quiet and a few of you have already begun to rise when you hear a growl from down the corridor, from the infirmary.
Those of you awake hurry down towards the infirmary while others awake quickly and hasten. Turning a corner from the infirmary is saldana, but he has, changed. There is no light in his eyes, with any sense of intelligence replaced by a feral ferocity. He is wielding a surgical tool in each hand. However, what truly shakes you is his condition. The front of his head is torn open with incisions at first precise, and increasingly random. Parts of his skull are shoiwng around the egdes, but his brain is pulsating. Starled by both saldana's rabid nature, and the sight of his head, you pause briefly. In that pause, saldana strikes the closest person to him, Alan T . saldana weaves a crimson dance with his surgical tools, like a dervish of death. Before the first of you can cast a spell, Alan T lies dead on the floor. The sheer gruesome nature of the death has caused a lowing shriek to rise, filling your souls with a loathing. Before saldana can strike again, almos tas one you all move to paralyze him. He strains agains the combined magic of you all, and you have no other choice but to mercifully end his life. st. cronin casts a numbing spell, so saldana will feel no pain, and you cast spells that end his life quickly. The psychic torment from Alan T's hideous death lingers, and most spirits have been blasted with pain. All ghosts that were ghosts when Alan T died cannot post during Night Four, which is Thursday night heading into Friday. This includes Alan T himself. Anybody who died after Alan T's death, including saldana, can still post once during Night Four. Night Three has ended. Day Four has begun, and will end at 9:00 pm EST Thursday night.

Anyone have any idea what that was all about?
Looks like sal was not Dimir according to post #4, so we lost two of us last night. Only nine total players at this point, so things are getting urgent in a hurry. |

We all knew saldana was acting funny. It appears we now know why. Was he a Gruul then?
I was hoping we would get some indication of who to concentrate on next, but it appears we will have to find that ourselves.

No indication that he was Gruul. He was named as Orzhova in post #4 after his death.
I suspect that he was perhaps possessed or had some type of character trait, like an insanity maybe, that was causing him to behave that way. My worry here is that no one else has seemed to uncover anything during the night actions. I know that at least one other living person has the capability of doing a night action, so hopefully someone can unveil something today. My night action cleared someone, so if necessary, I will divulge that information later on. |

Does anybody think we learned anything useful about Barkeep and AlanT from the other night, or was that just color? Because my circle of trust looks like this:
KWhit but it could look like: KWhit, Barkeep |

I guess we could all be able to mindscan, but I know that for me at least that isn't spelled out. I don't know that I can automatically trust Barkeep just because of that, but I have no real reason to not trust him either.

Me and AlanT were in PM communication throughout the game. The circle that we have/had formed is (excluding ourselves):
Barkeep KWhit Swaggs Some of these are more certain than others, but we were pretty confident of all of the above. People we were both not sure on, St. Cronin and Chief Rum. He told me just before last night that today Cronin was his likely vote today. |

St. Cronin and Chief Rum were both suspicious to me before last night, as well. St. Cronin because of the late vote change, without commenting, the night that we lynched Fouts. I can verify that st. cronin was not magically in contact with anyone last night, as I shadowed him and did not sense anything. Chief Rum I suspect only because I think he might be playing the rookie card up a bit, which would be a pretty smart tactic for the experienced members of Dimir to have him emphasize. He also made a late vote. No real evidence towards him, just more a feel for how he has played. Schmidty is also being suspicously quiet. |

Ok. Last night I was sitting in my room, trying to sleep when I was interupted YET AGAIN. Path comes in and sits down. We get to talking. And then BAM he tries to bribe me to joining his evil cause. Well I think of the most outragous amount I can think of, 800 gold, and see I would never join the Dimir for a bullion less. He says that is too high of a price and then silences me. Only now has Anxiety informed me that the silencing is lifted.

Ok a bit more analysis:
Ok I think we can safely assume that the Dimir use gold in this game. I believe hoops said it and now I had it brought up in my discussion with path. So the question is, what does the 800 tell us? Do they not have 800 gold, thus suggesting that the likely used a lot of it already, perhaps with hoops vote switch and potentially looking to use a duke power before Anxiety interfered? Or do they have it and have decided that path is not worth the 800 gold? I would tend to believe that they simply didn't have it, as I can't believe they have enough members to burn someone, but think that it is at least something to discuss on what should be a slamdunk day. |

To piggyback onto Barkeep's thoughts...
Do we know for certain that hoops tried to bribe Alan T on the first night? I know for certain that I prevented hoops from executing his planned magical night action. It makes me nervous to think that they potentially have or had the ability to both attack someone (Fouts) and bribe someone (Alan?) in a single night. |

Let's just say that I don't think that's true cronin as my initial role PM would suggest that, well, I'm not such a big fan of most of the members of this council.
However, it would be good to hear if anyone else has gold to use. |
