It's an eventful day, with lots of squabbling in hushed voices. The firings of bulletsponge and Barkeep have put everyone on edge, and the tension couldn't get much higher.
But everyone knows it doesn't end there. Who gets the axe today? 15 minutes to knock off time, finkenst gets the dreaded call. He rises and walks slowly to the Boss's office, seemingly confused that he has receievd this call. He seemed to be in a daze most of the day, though. He slowly walks into the office, and sits down with the Boss. No one can see his face, but the slumped shoulders tell the story. Finally, he gets up, walsk out and goes to his desk. His longtime friends, the Crew, gather around him, asking him what is going on. "You all know what's going on," he says bitterly. "Despite all the production and hard work I have put out over the years, they're letting me go, the ungrateful bastards." No one around the office is saying a word, straining to hear every word while appearing to be interesting in, well, anything else. "But don't worry, guys," finkenst says conspiratorially. "I may be gone, but I'm taking someone with me." With that, he picks up his box and walks out of the office, never looking back. finkenst was a member of the Crew and a wolf! Some want to jump for joy, but those who heard finkenst's last words actually turn back toward the office. The Boss is standing at the door. He looks about the room, looking for someone, but doesn't see him. Listening, though, he hears him and peeks down one cubicle row. "st.cronin, come here please," the Boss harumphs. st. cronin looks up in surprise at the Boss, someone he counts as a friend. What could this be about? This meeting lasts much longer, and the anguish on the Boss's face is clear. But what has happened is inevitable. st.cronin has been fired. The popular st.cronin is crowded as he comes out of the office at last. "Someone said I said I used the word "#$%!#" and "Jesus" earlier today, and that the company can't afford that kind of liability," he said despondently. "But I would never say that! I swear!" Crestfallen, he marches out the door with his personal effects. St.Cronin was the Gossip, a victim of wolf influence! Today's shocking events leave everyone in a somber mood as they pack up for the night. Tomorrow's deadline is 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PDT! Role PMs going out now. Good luck, everyone!

Well mixed bag there, hate to lose Cronin.. but getting a wolf hopefully will start to shed some clues.. Time to go back and see who both was eager to kill off a rival wolf as well as who was willing to try to save them.

That's awesome news, minus the gossip. So now we've lost the gossip and observer. Not good at all, but perhaps now the wolves will try to stir something up for the opposite side so to even things up between them, IF they weren't even.

Lathum is one of the ones I was thinking about voting for too.. He seemed really eager to encourage people to vote for Fink there, Pass and Mauboy were the other two that helped push it. After day 1 narrowly escaping lynch, and then this vote, Lathum is my top thought also.. but I kind of want to map out some of the dependancies between people first, to see if the same people helped Lathum escape that voted for Fink here. I dont think I will get to that until the morning with work thanks to my laptop being messed up tonight though. |

Well, I think it's safe to say we've got cougars on Fink and crew on Lathum. What we don't know is whether Lathum is one of the cougars or not.

I wouldn't be surprised if RendeR was also a wolf, obviously on the other team though. I'm going to sign off on this thread for the night, I think. Maybe I'll check again before I go to bed though. We'll see.

You know, this has nothing to do with WW, but I just have to say that the Anaheim Mighty, Might, Mighty Ducks are a bunch of fucking slimeballs. Every single one of them. Even Niederdiedediederrmayer. Their coach should get suspended for encouraging goonery, and their fans should be showered with paper bags filled with flaming poop by Wing fans when the Red Wings play there (since 75% of the crowd is Wings fans anyway).
Screw you, CR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Clap is a member of the crew (same team as fink), wanting to start a run on you (one of the people pushing for fink's firing), wouldn't that make you a likely whatever the other team is? Isn't that who we want to go for today, so one wolf team doesn't get too far in front of us and everyone else? |

Role PMs have been out for some time, but I didn't get the chance to post that until now because my Internet connection is being an ass.
Also, not that they need the reminder, but today (Day Three) is officially a WOLF vs WOLF kill day.

I already said my reasoning so far. You were on the line day 1 and narrowly escaped death, then were a big part of Render escaping death and fink being put to death today. There were obviously others involved as well, but so far you were the one that jumped out at me at being in the middle of things both days. I said I planned on trying to see who was involved in you getting away on day 1 and how that matched up with today. Your arguements right now also aren't making alot of sense.. You seem to claim that both Render and fink and Clap all are on the same wolf team (even though you pushed hard for people to save Render today), you claim that Clap being a part of this team is far more interested in your death than trying to get the opposing wolf team even though his team is now down to 2 people if they started with 3. I would think their urgency at this point would be a bit greater.. especially if their team is as transparent as you would have us believe. Either way I'm not making a vote until the morning after I've had time to try to see which people have been sticking up for each other so far. |

Here's what I think. I think there is atleast 2-3 wolves in the list that voted for Fink. The reasoning being that it would make sense for the opposing wolf faction to pile on. So, IMO, we need to now figure out who is a wolf from faction 1 and who is a worker in that list of nine. One thing we also know is that no wolves from Fink's faction would have voted for him. That means that the three other wolves had to vote for someone else.

With a close vote like that, I would have to assume some of Fink's team was on Render.. There was alot of movement at the deadline, since we now know it involved a wolf, I'm pretty sure people were both trying to save and condemn Fink there.. The thing we have to watch out for here is with it being a wolf kill wolf day as Chief says, if another member of Fink's team gets lynched today, and then they lose their last member tonight in the wolf vs wolf kill, its probably game over for us as the other wolf team wins.. So for today, I think we want to try to look at the people who went after Fink instead of saving him. |

Side Note
I feel this needs addressing, given the number of new players we have here. I was asked tonight by a newer member about the communication protocol in our WW games, what is kosher, what isn't, both rules-wise and ethics-wise. I thought it would be a good idea for me to address that publically for the benefit of all newer players. Unless expressly given permission by game rules to discuss the game out of thread, you are not allowed to talk about the game outside of the thread. I would think that's pretty clear. It can be pretty easy to break this, given most of us are friends and talk to each other about other things all the time. So it's important that everyone is careful to abide by these rules. While this is my game, I believe that is pretty much the consensus of all WW game mods here. Keep in mind, "communication" comes in many forms. For instance, taking an action outside of the game (like alerting someone to their impending lynch when you have no game-given communication rights with them) that is a form of communication is also forbidden, both by rules and ethics. I hope that is clear for everyone, and if you have any questions, I and I am certain any of the other veteran WW players around here will be glad to answer questions.

Alan you are putting words in my mouth.
I am not going to apologize or make excuses for norrowly escaping death day one. I am always going to do what I can to survive no matter what role I have. How was I a big part of Render escaping death and Fink dying? I casted the fourth vote on fink, hardly damning. It was Pass and Mauboy who switched late. How was I in the middle of anything? I never said Clap wanted to urgently kill me, I said he saw a oppritunity I never said Clap |

Actually, the wolf team would also have to achieve the 1:1 ratio with the Department to achieve a Complete Victory. The game goes on until a wolf faction is eliminated AND a 1:1 ratio with the Department is achieved with the remaining wolf faction (or both wolf factions eliminated, as in the case of the Department).

You actually were pleading for people to switch over to vote Fink, you seemed pretty involved to me.. Either way, I've been looking at day 1 vs day 2 to try to see what I could find.. Day 1, when Bullet voted for you to make it 6-5 Bullet in the lead, Fink was next to vote. He could have voted you to tie it up, and leave it up to the other two voters to decide, but he chose not to. Instead both Fink and The Jackal threw away votes on Mr.W and Jeheinz, when Mr.W comes in at the end to put it away by voting Bullet. So based on that + your involvement in getting fink fired today, I'm feeling a little better about you right now.. Just your arguements tonight stink Now looking at the people who were instrumental in killing off fink, the most noticable was Mauboy and Schmidty there at the end. When it is all said and done, neither of their votes ended up mattering it seems. I actually felt ok with Schmidty's play on day 1 and think tonight was Schmidty being Schmidty.. He seemed to write up his vote before even knowing the tide had switched to Fink anyways, so I'm not looking too heavily at him. That leads to the next group, you have Render who voted for Fink which is obviously self-preservation. He would have done that as a wolf or villager, and then Pass who switched over at the same time as Render's self preservation vote. Looking at all of the people who voted for Fink tonight, we have: Schmidty,Mauboy1,Render,Pass,Sndvls,Lathum,The Jackal,Path,Jeheinz Out of those, I'm thinking right now that I am ok with Lathum, Mauboy and Schmidty. Render we don't really know what he is, but his intentions for his vote can be easily explained. So that leaves: Pass, Sndvls, The Jackal, Path, Jeheinz I already was looking hard at the jackal and Jeheinz today.. I doubt both of them can be wolves now though. As for whom the others voted for on day 1, Pass voted for Lathum day 1, which I don't think says anything either way if Lathum is ok like I feel he is after this analysis. Sndvls also voted for Lathum, so the same thing applies there, and Path voted for Barkeep whom ended up being killed that night as a good guy.. So not alot to go on, but I think there has to be at least one wolf that voted for Fink if not more. |

I think I'll try getting Vote Render this time around. For whatever reason, his talks as he was about to get lynched didn't strike me as too innocent. More like, defeated and just accepting it without really sounding guilty.
Like I said, I'm voting Render and as always, could change pending any other thoughts that might sway my own thoughts. |
